***NOTE*** about this video

As I mentioned in the 3x10 reaction, I watched these 2 episodes out of order (somehow) so there's obviously a lot that doesn't make sense about this reaction.

In Mob Psycho 100 3x11, Mob 3 ~Trauma~,  the Kageyama tribute continues with Ritsu reaching 100% of his brotherly responsibilities.

Gonna need the reacting to a reaction treatment for this one chief 🤣

Please excuse my question but Mob somewhat recently has been scheduled pretty sporadically so I'm not sure but when we should expect the finale. :) (I'm just excited <3)

On one hand psychic powers would help greatly when it comes to manual labor, which could spur humanity forward very quickly especially in underdeveloped areas. Although if everyone had them it’s possible it would result in a lot of death since everyone is powerful, or it could reduce killings since everyone would be on equal footing

Im sure Ryan will be in here at some point to actually further expand on the point lol but until then: In Japanese media, background or unnamed/uncredited extras are sometimes referred to as “mob” characters. So for the ‘entity’ inside him to say, “Farewell, Mob.” was sort of twisting the dagger lol. He was basically saying, “I’m not the fake one just pretending, YOU’RE the nobody in the background”

Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends-, the first two episodes are now available on Crunchyroll! Episode 3 & 4 is coming this Sunday!

I just randomly happened to see my name. I haven't seen any of the Mob Psycho series, so I can't really chip in much, although I'm flattered you'd think of me. All I can say is that it's true that the word "mob" (モブ) in modern slang is used to mean an NPC, yes. In MHA, it's the word Bakugo uses to talk about people he talks down about (in the dub they translate it as "extras"). So, what you're saying all makes sense, but without having seen the series, I can't really comment any more than that. And judging by the comments and the episode descriptions, I think I'd need some context, because honestly this whole series sounds like an extended fever dream from the outside, haha.

Ritsu 100% absolutely broke my soul.

Ah whoops, I must just be so used to your insightful comment drops that I always assume you’ll eventually pop in, without even considering what series you’ve been active on or not lol. Appreciate the attempt at elaboration anyways!

Ryan

Any time. If you do have a translation question, my students have spoiled basically every major series for me, anyway, so I'm happy to help out, haha.

I don't really like how Ritsu revolves entirely about Mob. You're not a "brother" and your powers aren't there to "support your brother", you're your own person! Maybe he really has everything about life figured out except for his brother issues.
