Innocent question with no ulterior motive…. is Yachi’s mom single?

This show (and manga) really does an incredible job at balancing such a large cast of characters

I think it's one of the best shows at doing that. My Hero does a good job at it too but like no show will make you cry for like a D tier team's wing spiker or something. Truly beautiful

i love the way we get to see more of Hinata's character through Yachi's perspective as someone who is new to the entire cast. The way in the last episode she commented about feeling like she was left in direct sunlight for too long after he left (which i feel like is such a great analogy for hinata lol)-- or in this episode she was comfortable enough to talk about her worries to him directly says so much. (Also i just think it's super cute he sprinted to the train station with her right after to give her that push.) He really seems so warm and caring to everyone around him, like?? this man thinks about Kenma and remembers the days of his matches, writes him texts to wish him luck etc. HE'S SO SWEET

I like to think that chainsawman does a wonderful job at having a large set of unique characters and personalities, but that haikyuu has the most realistic large cast of characters

This show has incredible character growth for literally everyone, but Yachi’s is one that really stands out to me, love her

I've been here long enough not to be surprised at all, but it's still nice to see Goodwin pierce through all the fluff to get at the heart of what Yachi and her mom are both trying to do, the danger inherent in it, but the reward in having it go well. 22:30 The store Hinata sees the poster in is, in fact, literally the same store he first saw the "Little Giant" at in Episode 1. It's one of my favorite moments of the season. There was a lot of language humor this episode with puns and whatnot, but most of it is skippable, haha, so just a few little ones I like: - 11:35 The team is chaotically not preparing for the game, and Yachi says "ugou no shuu" (烏合の衆, crow-match up-congregation). They call it "a flock of birds." It just tells how crows are supposed to be independent and uncooperative, so a group of crows together is just chaos incarnate. It's actually the same word that Olivier Armstrong in FMA uses to describe the generals when she sizes them up in the board room in Central (it's when they react to the news that Bradley's train blew up). So, Yachi is all worried that the team is nuts, and Shimizu thinks it's funny since they are in fact "crows," but they aren't that type of crow flock. - 15:40 好意 (koui, "kind-heartedness" / generosity of spirit) is, obviously, a much more difficult word in Japanese than "kindness" is in English. I kinda wish they'd translated that as "magnanimity" or something, since that'd convey pretty well why it's a little strange that Hinata comes up with that word.

Tsukki saying that theres no way that he could block Ushiwaka isnt just him not having a positive attitude, its the fact that Ushiwaka is such a strong player that no one in his prefecture has ever blocked him. His attacks have been touched and prevented from scoring, but no one has actually had a kill block on Ushiwaka

Well since we're asking completely innocuous questions, Is Shoyo's homeroom teacher single?

Aray YIKAMACI

Do you mean volleyball mommy? :)

flock of crows: murder :)
