Genuinely though, the question about Deku being a crybaby or being a bad protagonist, when done 100% seriously and without irony, always feels like a bunch of weird anime fans grappling with toxic masculinity and hating that their shonen protagonist is a sweetheart Mama's boy who also happens to carry the best and worst traits of their world's greatest hero

I love these so much everytime we finish a series. Usually I just play it on my second monitor and play a videogame, than listen to the whole thing in one sitting.

I forget if it was your reaction or another, but I remember them being antagonistic towards mirio at the beginning because of the pitting him against deku as a rival for the one for all power, but then grew to love and respect him

While a lot of the side characters get good development I'd still like to see more from the students in the class. I would like episodes focused on their characters similar to the way we focused on villains, would love more focus on sero, sugar man, etc. I always wanted to see sugar man arm wrestle deku or something simple lol

Thanks for that satisfying answer for my question man, and I agree that Brina Palencia does an amazing job voicing Mineta that when I first watched it I didn't even realize it was her let alone a woman who was voicing him, she also does a great job as Izuzu in Fruits Basket 2019 as well in my opinion.

I agree with the almight not being irresponsible giving Deku the quirk, deku may not have known exactly what he was getting into, but stepped up, and had every opportunity to move on and give up the power as well. I think it should definitely be made more clear it's okay if he wants to leave (but it's obvious he doesn't)_as I could see some being pressured into continuing even if they didn't want to.

Sorry I missed the Q&A post this time around so I just wanted to ask about an interesting moment in season 4. Deku is seemingly willing to give up One for All to Mirio after Night Eye (and All Might not talking to him ab his past) discourages him. How do you think the story changes if Mirio takes over this role? I know crazy theoretic lmao

Horikoshi didn't say "The Manga will end this year". He said he thinks he might be able to wrap up the story in the next year. There was nothing absolute about his statement, and many mangaka in the past have made such statements only to barrel past those expectations. I'm really annoyed so many fans have taken this like an absolute reality.
