the beach arc is finally here! this is the arc that really kick starts the plot of fruits basket in my opinion, so im so excited!

Fruits Basket literally does the best beach episode i've ever seen! it's like the opposite of the average beach episode which is all filler, with Fruits Basket it's a whole arc with so many cool plot moments!

I only like Shigure more and more as the show goes on especially towards the end. His complexity and string pulling makes him compelling throughout the whole series, and deep down you know he's a good guy who wants the best for the people around him. And I just love him as comedic relief as well. Dude is consistently hilarious from his run on gag of driving his assistant mad to his gay-ish bromance with Yuki's brother, his range from serious schemer to lighthearted doggy is the best.

The summer beach house "arc" is basically where the fruits basket series changes. From her on out, it gets darker, and a bit more plot focused in nature, and not as episodic/slice of life as season 1. IMO, its when the series really shines.

Big underrated moment was Shigure closing the window so Akito wouldn't see Harry on his... date? Not sure. This relates to my comment from the next episode about Shigure being both comforting and mysterious.
