So I'm gonna call a bit of an audible here because I'd like to try some new shows out for when Invincible ends in just a few weeks.

Instead of Invincible 3 times a week, I think the final posting day of the week (today) will be for bonus videos + trying an episode of a new show.

What that means is Invincible episode 5 will be pushed to next week, and today will be Attack on Titan in 9 Minutes (Gigguk) reaction, and then the first episode of Fruits Basket (2019) later on.

And that schedule should remain the same for a few weeks, except with different bonus videos and trying different shows.

Hope that makes sense! See you soon :D

What other shows are you thinking of piloting?

Anonymous

Interesting, this is the first time you've watched a show I haven't seen, looks like it's time to binge lol

Etsch

One show I think you could check out is To Your Eternity

Sulphys

Hope you will try more western animated shows (Castlevania/The Owl House, etc).

Anonymous

i hope u like Fruit Basket 😪😪

Fizzle

Fingers crossed one of the shows you try is To Your Eternity! (get used to me, man - I'm gonna mention this show every time you mention new ones, lol)

Anonymous

My rec if you want an actual truly chill and happy show about like exercise and being inspired is Haikyuu. It's like if the All Might and Deku beach episode was an entire anime

malik

If you're piloting thing imma just throw Psycho Pass as something you'd find interesting. Probably not as popular as your other recommendations, but I feel like the discussions would be interesting

R'Mani Leavell

Sounds good, but a quick question (which you probably answered before), why aren’t you going to reaction to the show that got 2nd place on your last poll you made after watching FMAB?

agoodwintv

Jujutsu Kaisen, To Your Eternity, and then I'm trying to pick one more among a few others

agoodwintv

I think it didn't occur to me to test them out because in my mind it is inevitable that I will watch HxH (and Mob Psycho for that matter) soon either way.

Nick

Keeping with the agreement I see! Unless it was a different commenter I talked to about TYE

Anonymous

I’m gonna try my luck and recommend March Comes in Like a Lion again. Just an awesome show about a depressed teen prodigy learning how to make true human connections again after a lot of hardship. Hopefully you think it’s worth checking out!

Anonymous

Try piloting Itaewon Class! It's a Kdrama and it's themes would captivate you. Only downside is each episode is an hour or more.

Nick

I agree having seen season 1 of Psycho Pass. It's really really good, although it's more about political ideals than it is about things like personal growth. I guess it's a little bit of column A and B

i_am_jam

Attack on titan in 9 minutes hype!!! Love that vid so much

Ace

Angel Beats or Eureka Seven pilot?

DrowsyCody

Once again strongly suggesting Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeast on Netflix Storytelling on par with atla/Lok great characters, and a ton of messages to pick apart and theorize on.

Cheezy

Here to add Infinity Train, Gravity Falls, and The Owl House as options for potential western shows!! :P They're both rather short (compared to most anime anyways, lolol), and imo some of the best western cartoons to come out in recent years. Hella worth the watch if you haven't seen 'em already!

Anonymous

for a fun summer time show id recommend Gravity Falls, and Demon Slayer as another anime recommendation with season 2 coming soon

Cheezy

OH and not sure what's on the list for potential upcoming anime, but Steins; Gate is one I think you'd enjoy a ton!!

Anonymous

You should try To your Eternity or Jujutsu Kaisen.

Anonymous

Steins;Gate is definitely a rec. Different feel from anything else you've reacted to by a fair bit. Definitely worth a pilot run!

Chris

I second this, March Comes in Like a Lion is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Aura Y

I would love a Haikyuu reaction series! Lots of great characters and lot of moments to analyze I think

Anonymous

True Detective! That seems right up your alley, lots of complex characters and themes. Plus, it isn't too long, 3 seasons and each season is only 10 episodes.

Megan

I’m sooo excited for fruits baskets. Despite being one of the most popular romance/shojo anime as of late, it’s popularity still isn’t anywhere close to most shonen anime, which is unfortunate. I think that if you do chose to watch it (fingers crossed) it will be a great introduction to a different genre of anime on your channel. Will you be doing a poll on what to watch next after piloting the show you chose, or choosing based on how you feel and how it fits you’re vision for the channel? If you chose a poll it’s highly probable that Jujutsu Kiasian will win as way more known then To Your Eternity and Fruits Basket. I’ve seen all three shows and think their all amazing choices, but Fruits baskets would be my first choice followed by To Your Eternity.

Fruits basket is really great! Can't wait to see the reaction!

FiioArt

Yeah I think you'll like Fruits Basket, it's the type of slice of life show you were looking for.

Anonymous

You've probably got your pilots all lined up, but if you're still thinking it over, consider the western show Bojack Horseman. It may not be a perfect fit for the channel, but it's my favorite show, and is full of discussion worthy character growth and topics. The pilot is good, but not the best representation of the tone the show grows into.

Anonymous

Like the others, i'm super excited for Fruits Basket! The 2001 fruits basket show was actually what got me into anime when i was a little kid. It's very dear to my heart, hope you can enjoy it <3

Aura Y

Bojack is one of my favorite series out there, I would love to see it reacted to! Yeah, the pilot is probably not the best of what the show has to offer though

MikeWest

This sates my ADD addled mindscape while also not making me wait a week in between releases for the prime shows. Well played

Nick Nangle

Fruits basket.. don’t hate on me but he could pick anything better that shows so overrated…jujutsu Kaisen hunter x hunter or death note would be better

William Abbott

Dang I was looking forward to more invincible. Oh well Parasyte or Re zero are in my top 5 as well

Aaron Ong

Fruits Basket is great. He mentioned awhile back that he really wanted to give a slice of life romance anime a shot since hes been kinda craving that a bit. I prefer the original Fruits Basket to be honest, but the visuals in the new one are amazing.

C Cuenca

W.e happened to the anime show polls i thought you had some pretty good gems up there was hopping to vote on the next show, nonetheless glad to see you react, keep up the good work

Derek P

Just gonna throw Vinland Saga into the ring. An anime about a battle shounen about pacifism. Incredibly interesting and the character writing is borderline unparalleled.

agoodwintv

So I was actually just in Itaewon last night, saw a big poster for the show that reminded me of its existence, and decided to watch it. But I hadn't considered doing videos on it!

agoodwintv

I am planning on releasing them on YouTube as well and seeing how it goes, but I also want to see what the shows are like and if I like them I will definitely continue them when I can.

Anonymous

Always really wanted you to watch Psycho Pass, but if you're looking more for tame slice-of-life stuff like Fruits Basket idk if Psycho Pass would be the best right now lol

Jacob Keyser

I love Fruits Basket.

Stephen husuc

Welcome to the nhk was the only slice of life I ever liked... I don't know the whole genre is like country music for me... I just don't get it but to each their own

Polygon

Yeah, I'd love to see him react to a Seinen like Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass, Vinland Saga, or Parayste

Kieran Ellis

Banana Fish is worth checking out if youve never heard of it ;)

Aray YIKAMACI

Banana Fish is amazing. Please react to She-Ra also please

CastSenpai

Re:Zero & Vinland Saga would be great shows for you, I think!

MartianElegy

Highly recommend Mob Psycho 100. A little underrated, and is made by the same person who wrote One Punch Man. Has more serious tones than OPM of course.

Anonymous

comment to show that ppl want you to watch Mob Psycho 100 (fingers crossed on a 3 rd season announcement)

benj

Its in the top 15 highest rated anime of all time on MAL and top 30 in popularity. it has mainstream appeal and critical acclaim, havent even seen it yet but its not under rated thats for sure lmao

minimonie__

yess! really love that show (if you can tell from my profile haha)
