This is why I really like this season of MHA. It's smart in setting up these different groups and using the main story to build them up. Just know that every character is gonna get their time to shine, and there's really not a weak link imo (except Mineta).

Man Mineta can really get on my nerves in this show. I'm not a big fan of the pervy character trope in anime in general, and it's especially grating with him.

I like how Mineta, the really grating pervert, has a costume that instantly made me think of a diaper or something like that. His demeanor fits it too I know it's playing into the pervert trope but I like that it's not glorifying it and rather showing him as kind of pathetic Also, Aizawa is a damn badass holy shit. And there goes Allmight with even more pressure to keep up this hero look. Dude can't catch a break and can I just say: this dub is fantastic! my god, it's actually great in terms of casting and acting. Fate/Zero and FMAB are tied for my favorite dubs that I've seen but this is earning a spot so far.

One of the things I like most about this show is about being an inspiration to someone, like how Bakugo inspires Deku to fight the villains head on and how Mineta was inspired by Deku at the same time. Something like this happen a lot in the show and it just make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside (plus great soundtrack to boost it up).

IT still amazes me that Mineta didn't just get accepted in this school but also got placed in this top hero class... Like is that how low their standards were?

Mineta is a fool. But Tsu is great! Initially she was my favorite of the students, although eventually it just becomes hard to choose a favorite as you get to know them all.

The issue is that he doesnt belong in this show. This is an elite class of heroes that strives to accept only the best into this academy then we see a cowardly sexual preator like Mineta in the same class as someone like Todoroki and Deku. It takes you off the world that was built and also just leaves you feeling gross just by watching him.

This series adores its side characters. While it will take some time you’ll notice that the series is already setting up a precedent of putting different students near Midoriya, aka the plot, and rotating them out. Can’t wait for more.

Haha hey I know this isn't the place for anime recommendations but I'm gonna be that guy lol... I just wanted to suggest you watch an anime called "welcome to the nhk" sometime... Obviously I think a reaction to it would be dope but even if you just checked it out on your free time I think you of all people would love it... It's about a 20 something year old dude who quit college and became a shut in... The art and writing are superb throught and it walks the line of silly and soul crushingly real... The emotional and psychological beats almost always land and the show becomes more relevant over time... It's only about 25 eps and seriously hits close to home with us nerds who don't sleep well and have existential dread over existing in such a chaotic world.... Haha anywayyyy my extremely long rant is over love the channel you seriously never disappoint... Can't wait for more MHA!
