Yessss, I am excited for you. You're gonna have a blast with all the things these books are filled with, both with the lore, all the callbacks, characters, etc. There's so many good things packed into them. Yee did a fantastic job and I'd absolutely trust him to write more books for the Avatarverse, whether it be Kyoshi's story, or someone else's.

I saw you comment about not being sure about the format for a video about the books. Personally, I think it'd be cool if you shared some passages you liked and think are worth sharing, kinda like with your videos on the ATLA comics. Also, love the books. It definitely reads like another installment of Avatar, but with all of the political naivety stripped away. None of that 'I'm not going to kill Ozai because all life is sacred and we should always look for a peaceful solution' crap. Kyoshi don't fuck around, and the books set up why she goes full 'Batman vigilante style.' The bending in the books are incredible too. The author isn't Mike or Bryan, but is still super creative and does the IP justice

I think what i love most is the flushing out of the difference cultures we really learn so much about the earth kingdom and fire nation stuff that just doesn't really fit in a 30 minute TV show

These books are so amazing and they expand on the universe in wonderful ways. After reading them, Kyoshi took the cake for my favorite Avatar. She's super cool, and the people she meets on her journey are so cool. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on these :D
