You should go back and rewatch the Cait/Maddie scenes (as painful as it is). I think if you pay attention to their actual dialogue it'll make a lot of sense why Caitlyn is rebounding with her. During her talk with Ambessa, when you were noticing how Caitlyn is struggling to return to who she was and grappling with the darker parts of her self and the goodness still in her, I think THAT'S why she's with Maddie. Maddie, all throughout, is very soft and gentle, keeps telling her that there's another way, telling her to rethink everything, keeps reminding her of the option for peace, etc. Their relationship is quite literally Caitlyn subconsciously (but desperately) trying to keep that gentle part of herself alive by keeping a voice of reason in her ear.

My theory regarding Cait/Maddie is that something is going to happen to Maddie or Maddie who probably is very much in love with Cait will witness maybe something between Cait and Vi and she will probably let jealousy overcome her and will be the catalyst for something that will happen later, that's my theory on that whole situation, I heard a quote from an anime movie from the 80's or early 90's can't remember the name but it went something like this, "Those with the purest and innocence of hearts, fall the deepest into the abyss."

Saying that lest is such a minor character that i daubt the writers actualy erote her to be trans or even not trans as it has no impact so unless they had warped priorities most normal writers wouldnt even think to decide on it or the writers may hired the actress because she trans as a statement that the character is intended to be trans depends what priorities are in the writers mind at the time

It'd be an understatement to say that this episode was exciting and exhilarating. God, the buildup to Warwick was incredible. The moment he wakes up, the POV shots, the quick flash of his appearance before the confrontation at the end. So good aaaaa! And the instrumental at the end got me a lil emotional, ngl I also like the idea that Jinx inadvertently inspired a punk subculture. I like their whole look. Reminds me a bit of the Joker gang from Batman Beyond, except the Jinxers' inspiration is quite a bit more sympathetic of a character. Side note, your reaction to THAT at the start was incredible and as soon as I saw that in the episode, I was looking forward to seeing how you would take it. Betrayal, drama, these reactions truly have it all.

Idk it feels like quite a bit of time has passed, is Caitlyn just not supposed to have a relationship if it isn't Vi? Like I was surprised too, but Maddie is perfectly adorable and a nice person, Caitlyn is literally having a rebound relationship while going through a dark time, a cinnamon roll like Maddie is honestly the perfect pick

When Ambessa just walked by Jinx and didn't comment, I think she DID notice who Jinx was, but WANTS her to break out the prisoners and incite greater violence. She's not on Piltover's side, and I bet she'll be happy to work with Zaun if it gets her hextech. Also, I note that Warwick operated not one, but two elevators in this episode. He's not just a mindless monster, he can THINK.

The Jinxers actually existed in a League of Legends side game called Convergence, except they were called the Inxx. It was an *ahem* terrible game, but it's neat to see the Inxx reinvented like this!

Am I the only one that thought Maddie and Cait were super cute and actually really liked it? Don’t get me wrong I still love Caitvi but I’m also really glad Cait had someone so loving and grounded by her side to keep her from getting in her own head too much. It’s easy to see in the bedroom scene that Maddie keeps Cait’s admiration for Ambessa in check, she questions it and reminds Cait that war isn’t the only way, something she *really* needs right now. If it weren’t for Maddie who knows how far gone Cait would have been by now. Also I’m happy for Maddie, you go girl!

After the first shock and feeling of betrayal (I have to admit), I too think that Maddie and Caitlyn are a cute couple and I really am happy for Maddie. I love that she offers Caitlyn not only a warmth and comfort, but also a different perspective on the events. She grew on me very fast. 😊 But this relationship seems imbalanced. Caitlyn gives more the impression of seeking distraction, comfort and a bit of peace. Maddie on the other hand really seems to love Caitlyn truely, madly, deeply. If Caitlyn can reconcile with Vi (I certainly hope they will find back together), this could lead to a Maddie shaped tragedy. Either she gets jealous and causes harm or she sacrifices herself for her love...🤔🙈 EDIT: Guessing by the growth of "Baby Blue" and of Salos hair I'd say the time jump is about a year...🤔 EDIT 2: Did anyone else see the look on Sevikas face, when Jinx hugs Isha in the prison? She has such a soft, almost tender expression. I didn't know Sevika was capable of that, she usually is just a fist with hair. I like it though...😊

The Maddie/Caitlin dynamic is lopsided. Caitlin is definitely using her for physical comfort. Maddie seems to have legitimate feelings, but I'm not 100% convinced Ambessa didn't put her up to it... "My girlfriend's gonna flip her chair..." I'd have put money on it too, Mosco. 😅

After seeing the barbed wire fence separating Zaun and Piltover that’s guarded by enforcers, the affection that I held for CaitVi evaporated. I watched all of Act 2, so Cait is probably getting a redemption arc, but due to personal feelings of real world events, Cait has dug herself into a hole so deep she might as well be at the center of the earth. I’m still happy to see Elijah rooting for them and enjoying the show though 🏳️‍🌈😊

I'm so down with Maddielyn as a temporary thing, I think it's cute. God Maddie's cute. As for ages, I got the impression that Maddie's 19-21, maybe 22, while Cait's probably 24-26. Either way I'm personally not one to judge age gaps as long as both are consenting adults, though as Ambessa said, it's not smart to be in a relationship in this kind of circumstance, and it's clear Cait isn't in it for the romance.
