In case you're in some need of eye bleach after getting yassified, I have for you a wonderful Greek Revival (via stylized ranch) in Atlanta built in 1960. With only one story, it manages to pack a lot of grandeur into a smaller visual footprint. Also featuring great classical symmetry, shutters that shut, and the right kind of whitewashing:

The downside? It's still gonna cost you $2.5 million. Sorry :(

The owners have maintained the original floors and have decorated with a tasteful mix of colonial revival and old-school farmhouse.

The kitchen is a bit white for my liking but at least it's square and reasonably functional.

I quite like actually this minimal decor that highlights the simple elegance of antique pieces. It keeps the old furniture from feeling stuffy and the light colors on the walls don't smother you. It's a mix of modern and old that's very easy to achieve if your'e working with a lot of darker pieces.

Unlike a lot of expensive houses, the backyard is relatively small and the pool could use some work. Still, there's some nice shade to work with.

You can view more of the pictures here. Have a great weekend!

The work triangle in that kitchen is a doozy. now I understand why those backsplash spigots got popular for awhile Also so many round shrubs front and back that is a lawn service wet dream.
