Finally, a good Spanish Eclectic (sometimes called Spanish Revival) redux to post - to be honest, I was not expecting to see such a thing in Minnesota of all places.

This is a pretty meticulously designed imitation, especially for 2005. The details are beautiful, including the planter under the tiny window of the second story, and the Juliet balcony, both of which are endemic to the style. The shapes of the windows and doors are also very style-friendly, as is the tile roof and colonnaded entryway.

I love the simple massing and the authenticity of the materials (real stucco! real muntins!) The windows are of a consistent shape and style, the shutters shut, and the front porch really invites one to relax and have a drink.

P.S. Unfortunately, there really isn't a good online resource devoted to this architecture. If someone were interested, I highly recommend starting one!

What amazes me is the consistency in wall paint across the different rooms -- They use the furniture and features for variety. I find it very soothing. My fiancee and I are going to have a new conversation about our own painting project.

This is a really beautiful house, both inside and out. It looks like the sellers are going to take a huge loss on it though, which is a shame in the current hot housing market in most of the nation.
