I am continuing to see your writing improving as you explain what made Cindy gain weight, why her husband left her and what she did to him cheating on her. Simon cheating on her is a nice addition as it shows what someone would do when their spouse doesn't accept their appearance and him getting his comeuppance is a nice addition too. I now wonder what happened to his secretary and him after gaining weight. Guess we'll have to wait and see

I see Revenge Waddles in the family ;) Loved these flashbacks! Some great depth to Cindy and Cass, and always lovely art despite the suddenly serious turn of events. Neat to see a callback to earlier pages in the story, and I think this is a fabulous way of giving Cass an introduction to magical baking. And you do male wg just as well as with the lasses! Love that Lexi both gets justifiably upset over the story, and doesn't bat an eye at the reveal of Cindy's food being magic either- she seems to be getting used to this! And these panels are particularly well-composed too, especially the intro and secretary feeding- seriously cool stuff. I'd quite genuinely buy a hardcover version of Revenge when it's all said and done one day!

Digging the continuity there, I hadn't even thought we'd see that referenced! Makes me wonder how many people Cindy's magically fattened up, and if we'll see Lexi's parents get "gifted" a similarly swelling sweet. Or, since folks keep asking for them, the cheerleaders.

I now wonder if Lexi will use the food to fatten up the cheerleaders and/or her dad. Her mom was kind enough to let her go so she probably doesn't deserve to be magicked into obesity.

I also like how this shows how the pleasant natured cindy can have some vengefulness/vindictiveness to her. That she doesn't just accept her husband cheating on her, she takes revenge on the two. Guess this shows how she isn't as easy going and eternally happpy as she appears. If you anger her, she will do something about you.

I also realized that the secretary wasn't endowed with boobs as a result of her weight gain. Is it that she's someone whose fat goes to her hips and belly and not so much to her boobs?

Were they passed on in her family or did she get them from a mysterious store that appeared mysteriously one day and when she went there again, it was gone? If passed on in her family, what's their history with weight gain magic?

I also saw this is the first time the story mentions sex. You have characters talk about being sexy and drawing them to be alluring, and show Cass crushing on Lexi, and have had will they won't they moments, but you've never mentioned sex in the story. This is alluded to with Cass's parents since how else was cass conceived? You finally mention sex for the first time, with Cindy mentioning her ex-husband sleeping with his secretary. I wonder if you'll allude to sex later on in the story. I am not asking to show explicit stuff, just mentions here and there towards it.

It also sucks that the first mention of sex is adultery. I hope that if sex is mentioned again in the story, it's presented under better circumstances. Again, not asking for explicit stuff just mention like two people who love each other getting it on. Perhaps Lexi and Cass or Lexi and someone she likes?

It may be the first explicit mention of sex, but I think the comic as a whole does a lovely job of presenting fat itself as good, sexy, and something to be found erotic too- and I prefer that to explicit sex unless it really serves the story. I'll ship Lexi/Cass til the day I die haha, but I think it'll be a while yet before the two even kiss- but what a glorious day that shall be!

I agree that explicit sex shouldn't be brought up unless it furthers the story in a porn with plot comic such as this. I was just saying I hope that if sex is brought up again, it's two people who love each other and not adultery/cheating as Simon was doing with his secretary. I also don't think it should be brought up all the time. You are right in how the story shows how fatness can be sexy and that can work even if explicit sex isn't brought up.
