WIP of the model I'm currently working on, a raccoon. The "fur" is just painted on right now, this is the texture that will sit on underneath the real fur to help hide sins.

Face is looking a bit iffy right now, I'll need to see how she looks once I get her fur on before I address it. Sometimes it just doesn't look right until it's done. Everything else I'm fairly happy with though, this is turning out to be a fairly solid model I think.

Lots of work left to do but she's at a sort of 'coming together' milestone so I thought I'd share!

If I'm not mistaken, it's 3 AM where you are, go to sleep! (It's 2 AM here but my excuse is I just got up. And I'm going back to sleep.)

It is, but my sleep pattern has never been normal. I go to bed around 8am these days, so for me it's not even late really. :P

Also, something about that upper-torso tilt is making my back hurt with sympathy.

If it's any consolation, there will be a male in the animation I make with this girl!

Wow great work! So in the final model you'll be doing the 3D modeled fur with this gal? There's a lot to her that just looks 'right'. Maybe it comes down to the proportions but nothing really catches the eye and makes you think 'That shouldn't be like this'. Your modeling, along with your animating, has come such a long way in such short time! Great work, Ru!
