I thought about it, but 'round my parts Sandy is a girl's name so it just felt too out of place for me. :P

Not sure if you were intending to demonstrate it like this, but having the first panel with Kyle all alone in the chair with nothing in the dark backdrop, far away from the happenings and just... Small, figuratively and physically, really gets me. Then the immediate fake chipper attitude and expression when we know what's really going through his head as we get a close up. A lot of good blocking and perspective that tells more emotion than even an expression! Oh, and he has to pay for the water out of his own pocket... Tsk. Give him to me, I'll make sure he's treated right!

I wish I could say the metaphorical visuals were intentional, but to be honest that was just the only angle I could draw that showed the things I wanted to show without wildly swinging the camera around, ignoring the 180 rule and making everything confusing. I'm glad it worked out though. x3 Here's a fun little fact, I think- he's not only figuratively and physically small there, he's also literally small. That drawing of him comes in at under one and a half inches tall. These comics have been a real exercise in drawing small stuff, heh.
