We have three big ol' subjects for you today! After unlocking the secrets of Frog Purse, of course. After that, let's talk about Google being horrible to its Stadia developers.

As well as that, we'll talk about the responses to Nintendo Direct and Blizzconline. We wrap things up with the one you know is coming - the utter offensive nonsense spewing out of the dishonest mouths of Six Days in Fallujah's developers.

If anyone is interested in a more detailed look at Six days in Fallujah and the real world events and politics related to it Nerd³ (officalnerdcubed) has done a realy good video on it which is well worth a watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTMWCIdolf0

First, another fantastic video James Stephanie! 😃 Second, I cannot say potato anymore. Thanks to that awful infomercial, I only hear "badadoe"! God dammit. 🤣 Third (because everything is better in 3's), thank gods for you. 😃

Remember when the original modern warfare had a scene where the character crawled around dying of radiation poisoning after a nuclear bomb was set off in a city? The scene where the gameplay came to a screeching halt so that the player could soak in the sheer pointlessness of all the war they’d been doing up to that point? I miss when devs had the guts to actually make political stances like that.

Benedict Holland

That wasn't political. Somehow, it wasn't like how Reagan ordering covert actions against left wing governments also isn't political.

No, it's not a sex thing. They keep people in the dark because they want to hold open a window for insider trading.

I think it is extremely important to talk about what white phosphorus does. It melts the skin off of bodies. It ignights the air, explodes lungs, and melts skin. It literally cooks people alive. When the US used it in Iraq, which we absolutely did to "win over hearts and minds", we did so over a place as dense as NYC. We essentially melted every man, woman, child, and infant in midtown to win hearts and minds. It is an indiscriminate and efficient killing machine where you don't just die but you die in one of the worst ways immangineable. The US has a very long history of fire bombing civilians including in Dresden, Tokyo, and all over pesant villages of Vietnam (where we used napalm to indiscriminately melt skin off of babies but that was to terrorize populations, not win them over). Now that we have this sterilized and sanitized concept pit in a far more visceral setting, the military murdered more than 100,000 Iraqis, burned thousands or tens of thousands of men, women, children, and infants in Faluja all in your name. Bush ordered or allowed this. The military carried out the grossly illegal, stupid command. Infants had skin melted off of them as they died because of a political decision in our name. So how anyone can discuss this in some clean, neat, and sanitized way is how we get to do it all over again next time and until we start to talk about war being the hell that it is, there will always be a next time. Oh yea, it was also used as a recruiting tool for AQAP and other AL Qaeda groups that likely saw service men and women put in harms way needlessly. You know, hearts and minds. I don't think I will be picking this one up. Who needs a story when you have the real thing in all of its barbarity.

Jim referencing effing metallica as the start of the mess around music rights shows they're old like me. Remember when Shawn Fanning showed up at the mtv music awards in a metallica shirt with lars in the audience?

I know this isn't really super relevant to the video, but that intro was fucking spectacular.

I’m living for how bizarre and hilarious interstitial bits have gotten on this show.
