I heard the Six Day in Fallujah game is being made by a developer that makes combat simulators for the military, and is partially funded by the CIA. Definitely worth looking into, and I wouldn't put it past the MIC, considering the shit they've been pulling to try and recruit gamers.

Clicked on the link to Rami's twitter thread...."this account no longer exists"? :x

aaaaaaah just noticed the polygon link is an amp link. Plz don't use those. They're very bad for the open web. https://medium.com/@danbuben/why-amp-is-bad-for-your-site-and-for-the-web-e4d060a4ff31

The twitter account seems to no longer exist.

Actually the 360 SSX was considered one of the worst ones at the time so it's fairly interesting to have your impressions in hindsight. It was first revealed as SSX: Deadly Descent and people didn't like how gritty the reveal trailer was in contrast with the earlier more colorful titles like Tricky, On Tour or even Blur. Also it got even worse when the soundtrack was revealed to feature a lot of dubstep (which you'll hear anyway when you max out your meter) and which a lot of people didn't like at the time. EA backtracked a lot and changed the game's aesthetics a bit before release so it was more in line with the earlier titles, but there were still some choices that made people unhappy such as the most iconic character from SSX Tricky being locked as a pre-order exclusive. I got around to play the game and it wasn't as bad as I feared, but still not as good as how I remember the earlier titles (SSX 3 and Tricky were generally considered the best ones by the fans)

I have fond memories of playing Tricky and 3 back in the day, and EA's inability or unwillingness to just keep making SSX games that people liked is another example of game publishers shooting themselves in the foot by assuming people don't want things when they really really do.
