Maybe that makes me a bad leftist, but I don't mind anyone whose net worth is in the single millions. Good for them. Tens of millions is getting extremely iffy, but not guillotine-level iffy to me, personally (again, I'm a bad leftist). But that's still two levels of magnitude away from a billionaire. That's roughly the difference between the comparative income of the average person in Switzerland and the average person in Bangladesh. More, in fact.

Here's the crux. The AAA have done all this evil in order to disillusion Jim into quitting, after which they can really get to doing some evil that no one has even imagined.

I really like this episode. It’s really nice to hear these things vocalized. I really hope Jim stays healthy... but as a capitalist patron, I was glad to hear his anger.

Ultimately, "disillusionment" is a positive process. It's good when our illusions fall away and we see things more sharply, even if that sharpness cuts and the process hurts. Selfishly, I hope that growth pains continue for you. Even when we don't agree (and no two thinking men will ever agree on all possible subjects) I respect the sincerity and passion of your convictions for the Humanity behind them. 
Nothing that you could produce, no agenda that you could take up, would in my mind be of more importance or worth than you as an individual. I wouldn’t sell you for a million dollars. That being said, I’m not a fan of burning monks. Be good to yourself..

If anything, I see your rage crystallizing your clarity, and you obviously have the self-awareness to not let it turn you into some mere mouth foaming blunt instrument. 
 The “it’s just video games” crowd are angry that you don’t want to just jerk off and placate to, as you put it in an episode, the Bread and Circuses culture. Pure Escapists don’t like it when shit gets real. Them getting louder lately is because you’re getting so real, and that’s all that is.. and for me, that’s gold.
 Talk of frame rates and rendering distances and that are honestly like elevator strangers talking about the weather kind of small talk for me, but confronting the industry on its various flavors of dehumanization… that’s juicy meat; nourishment to my fire. 
 So, the landscape is NOT unchanged in your wake, Jim. People don’t try this hard to get you to believe that when it’s actually true. And as for the other podcaster on the show that I ought to be sponsoring.. I sometimes feel I do trans people a disservice to be as silent on the subject as I am, but I know that I have no perspective or vantage here, and that's when I should probably just shut up and learn.. So, thank you for teaching me perspectives I never would've reached from the myopia of my own singular life.

As an experiment, I went to the latest Ubisoft themed video which was an AngryJoeShow and mentioned the Ubisoft rape culture. Joe ghost banned three of my I.D. for doing that, even one that thanked him for ghost banning anyone who mentions Ubisoft's rape culture, and for supporting such a fine company. Imagine Angry Joe covering up sexual assault for the benefit of Ubisoft. tch tch tch
