re: Laura's thoughts on Democratic Socialism Simulator, I have a lot of friends who are hitting all the grandstanding "GO VOTE!!" notes as of late and they don't seem to have a response to how democrats and republicans tend to work together to get evil shit passed.

How about a game based on Samuel R. Delany's Dhalgren?

Topic "Embargoes"? You mean Censorship? I mean, shooould there be topics barred from public scrutiny? "Journalism is printing what someone doesn't want you to print. Everything else is public relations." You don't seem like a PR and Pander Person to me, oh lover of purple pageantry. You're the lad who channels the Big Fuck It Energy of Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes. 36:30 I can see your point. It's like they're saying that if farms went away, none of the animals would know how to survive in the wild. If the government went away, none of the citizens would know how to even trade or wipe their butts, and the violent bands of roving gangs in the street would no longer have proper uniforms.. We live in a world where 12 year olds build working computers on MineCraft. I feel like, yeah, it'd be more sorted no matter what, and it's just that that would require more functionality/world building than they're willing to put in the effort to do.

To be fair most farm animals are domesticated to a point where they actually could not survive in the wild. Jim is one of the most cynical people I can think of. It’s amazing he thinks a post-Apocalyptic world could be fine, even in a fictional sense
