Hey guys,

I was curious where most of the Patreon traffic is coming from, as I've posted Three Square Meals to both literotica and Storiesonline. There are stats on both sites tracking views, but the numbers are fairly similar.

So it's time for another poll! :-)

I'd be fascinated to know, where did you first start reading the story?

Cheers,

Tefler

On literotica

Anonymous

You are really getting into the surveys

Anonymous

It was first posted on literotica. So it was first...

I originally started reading ur fantastic story on literotica keep up the awesome writing

Anonymous

I too found it first on Literotica. Quick question, anyone else having issues with the poll not being selectable on the android app? I had to load the website in chrome to be able to register my vote.

Anonymous

Never heard of storiesonline, I go on literotica pretty often.

Ran across the story on literotica about a year ago, also where I first saw discussion where you were setting up the Patreon site. However I did catch it on SOL when you started posting it there. SOL seems to be where many authors post their epic length stories like Roustwriters Arlene and Jeff which has had a chapter added every Friday for years. Think it's twice the length of 3SM

Anonymous

Jeff and Arlene takes a month to do anything... very little plot development each week

Anonymous

On Literotica right after you started posting it.

I started with SOL. I actually stopped visiting Literotica several years ago, because I disliked only being able to read when I had an Internet connection. Since I do most of my reading on a tablet while on the go, I find that very limiting. With SOL I can download a story as an epub and read it on my tablet regardless of Internet connection. ~Morningfrost

Grimlakin

Literotica here.

Jedi Khan

On Lit. In fact, I think I might have been the one to suggest starting a Patreon, Tef. Not sure though, given the sheer volume of comments that 3SM garners over there.

I accidentally found you on Literotica while reading another "Harem" story. For an Adult themed story site they have some surprisingly talented Authors. If you like Fantasy check out Etaski's Red Sister series, quite entertaining and quite long. ;-)

On SOL rarely ever visit Lit. There was a couple of stories that I followed on Lit a couple years ago but he stopped updating on both. Lit's format seems very difficult to follow for me.

Anonymous

I had to reload his page then it worked on the app.

Anonymous

I have issues finding stories I like on lit... But quality has gone down on SOL.

Youkai-sama

SOL has a better ratings format. Makes it easier to find good new stuff. And better story descriptions, too. Less wading though crap to find good stories.

I agree that finding the "Great" stories on Lit. can be a challenge. I heard about TSM in the comments for a story and gave it a try. Wish I could remember who posted it to offer my thanks.

About 2 years ago, I read a lot of stories on Literotica, but lately I spend a lot more time on Storiesonline. The funny thing is the only reason I had for visiting Literotica lately, before you set up the Patreon page, was to watch for Three Square Meals releases. Now I get my fix from Patreon and I've got almost no reason to visit Literotica anymore.

CJ Mora

Literotica. I still read your chapters there, even though I'm a patron, because the format from Patreon is hard to read on my phone. Also, Patreon doesnt always download the full file and it gets cut-off part-way through the story.

Tony Bates

I started on Lit, but have moved to SOL as I find the formatting easier to read.

I kept seeing this silly title Everytime I checked literotica. Eventually I broke down and looked at a chapter. My only regret was that I hadn't started the week before.

Anonymous

Found 3SM on SOL, I personally stopped on lit when I couldn't find stories that I had read previously. A lot of crap does get posted on SOL though...

Anonymous

Download, StoriesOnline, Literotica... When I'm ready to read. Seems like SOL moves faster getting your stories published. Ironically if all are available I prefer the reverse order.

Kim Biel-Nielsen

I prefer SOL - especially that I can download in Kindle or iBooks format for offline reading.

Anonymous

I have always read 3SM on Literotica, but it sounds like I need to check out Stories Online.

Anonymous

SOL its easier to find quality stories there and that's how I found out about 3SM. Hell they even have non erotic section :P

Found it on Literotica and and read it there until my habit forced me here. Still read the comments to help withdrawals until the next chapter shows up here. I have saved all the chapters to a file, it is a lot easier to copy from here versus Literotica. I have been known to miss a page in the past over there. GREAT STUFF! Thanks again Tef. Another thing that makes this story great is it be able to interact directly with the author, whether here or on literotica, plus here we can show our appreciation in a monetary way and that is saying something for me as some of my friends say that I am so tight that I squeak when I walk.

Tefler

I do read everyone's comments on here, but I have to restrain myself from getting involved with plot discussions. It's very hard to avoid spoilers, so I've just been avoiding replying to help resist the temptation! It's also easy to while away a few hours chatting, and I'm sure you'd all prefer I be tapping away on the next chapter instead!

I have been on Lit the whole time

Anonymous

Both, first on lit. Prefer Sol cuz of epub download, and "my library" options. I've got a paid sol acct. Definitly waiting for my next fix to appear on patreon once you report the editors have each chapter.

Anonymous

Use to perfect Lit but found SOL better but a few of the better writers have passed on and some have stopped posting stories due to the web neo Nazi holy rollers trashing them. But overall they still have a wider assortment of quality writers.

Anonymous

You and Final Stand favirile writers by far. Pocketbooklover good to but no more posts from either

Anonymous

only on lit

Tefler

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it was really interesting to see where you'd spotted the story!

Hammerfest

Started on LR, moved to SO when you started posting there :p

I never even heard of Stories online yet. Do they have an android reading app? I prefer to read on my tablet, and while Literotica's app isn't great, they at least have an app I can use to read without having to sit at my desk and peer at my PC screens.

Youkai-sama

Stories Online works well with a standard browser like Firefox on my phone/tablet. (I have a Note 3) You can set different options for page layout once you register for a free account, and premium gets you even more functionality at only $6 a month. Plus the rating system is way better so you get a better feel for how good the stories really are.

Anonymous

The one thing that literica does very poorly is identifying stories that are incomplete. How do you know that a story with 11 chapters is complete? It is right on the front of stories online.
