ForeverYeung

Since no one answered in the comments here, I'll still jot down what I know even though this is quite old and you may have forgotten even what you asked. That hard time for Wheein that they are referencing here was either the news of her fathers activities or alternatively when Wheeins non-celebrity close friend was found on IG and was bombarded. After that Wheein closed up on sharing anything to do with her non-celebrity friends until quite recently. Now she seems more inclined to include clips with her vlogs of her daily life with her friends. That's part of the charm for me with Wheein. In an industry where idols really do embody that title, up to the point where they almost seem bigger than reality, Wheein has always seemed ground and real in a way that made her be the only idol that will always seek content from no matter what.

I think at this point of their career they nothing for them to prove anymore, they are already legend in the industry. They will probably focus more on their solo career and CB once every year or other year. It suck but as fan we have to respect that, they can't be promoting how they used to when they were in 3-4 year. It tiring for them.

Are you ever going to open your higher tears again? I would want to recommend videos as well but it says the tears are sold out

I feel like Mamamoo has come far from when this documentary was recorded/released. Last year was surely a hard and uncertain time, but I think they’ve slowly figured out how and what they want to do together as a group and as soloists. From what I see in recent content, I’m glad they got over this “slump” and they all seem so much happier now have actually become clingier these days 🥹 I do agree we might see less of them as a group (maybe once every 1-2 years) but that’s okay. Whatever feels healthier mentally/physically/emotionally for them.

Please react to their MIC ON concert 2023 clip where they perform their solo songs! Don't want to give you any further spoilers!!! you will just love it!!!!

All I wish for them rn is a proper complete world tour to recognize their live stage performances by the global fans and a full album next year. I feel like they have already done their job and it won't be surprising if they parted their ways to continue their respective careers in the end of the next year but of course, I would be sad and heartbreaking to see it. I'm already thankful for their comeback and showing their dedicating efforts to the fans on variety contents this year. can't wait for the next episode!

They are all well respected and individual stars at this point in Korea as well as most of Asia. They’ll be on TV often even when they don’t make as much music, although I don’t think they’ll ever stop. For the moos, it’ll feel like they never left honestly. But for casual fans who don’t watch everything, they’ll probably feel like they are very inactive

This documentary is a really interesting time capsule for COVID times with Mamamoo. Now that they're able to perform again with crowds and they're going on tour (not to mention the year+ that has passed this this documentary was made), it seems like they have moved past this confusing time as a group. Who knows what exactly will happen at the end of contracts in 2023, but I'm sure we'll see Mamamoo together for many years to come. I also agree about that part regarding how kpop is unique compared to other entertainers. The relationship between kpop groups and their fans is different, especially from the idol's side. Fans can still be unhinged, but kpop idols have this....sincere gratitude? Respect? Love? A combination of all of those? Towards their fans. I have no idea how to describe it but it's different from western artists. Manufactured or not, kpop is built to create a connection between fans and the idol. I thinks that's a huge reason kpop has gotten *even* bigger during covid, people were really looking for a human connection when they couldn't make them irl.

It feels like MOOS are settling in for the long haul. Enjoying their individual solo work and celebrating the occasional OT4 event. As for WheeIn, I was pleased that she signed with a new company, because it proved she still wanted to sing.
