They absolutely earned the title Monster Rookies that year. They're one of the few groups whose live performances are something to always look forward to because they're insanely charismatic performers. Also, fun fact, all CUBE groups almost always sing live. They struggle to lip-sync when the situation demands it because they're so used to live singing. To me that just makes the live performances live up to their name and become much more enjoyable. If you're looking for more (G)I-DLE live stages, there's so many to watch but my favourite would be Uh-Oh at the Gaon Chart Music Awards 2019. It was so good and the camera work is 11/10. Here's the link in case you're interested in checking it out: https://youtu.be/nEjH7v3W-rY

Thank you so much for checking it out. I always look forward to their award stages. And the way they ate it up in their DEBUT year. It was iconic. Soyeon rapping out of pocket was one of my favourite things ever. Yeah I hated the camera work too especially for such a stunning performance. Yes there are a lot of live stages. My fav comeback stages are those of Oh My God.... Every M countdown, The Show they performed so well....

Yeahh omggg it was my fav too... I love the intro so much and camera work was really chef's kiss

2023-01-06 07:05:22 Soyeon's rap here is what cemented my bias for her... which is funny, because she forgot her rap and freestyled it, and she actually's very embarrassed by it. Regarding the camera work, I've actually worked in video production before, so your reactions to it were interesting. But yeah... your point about how some executive saying "We want you to see how big and grand this stage is and how much money we spent" is actually pretty accurate. The super wide shots are meant to illustrate the size and scope of the event. But you make a good point--too many wide shots take away from what you came to see, which is the performers.
