Hyunjin went on hiatus between the filming and airing of this intro stage episode, I'm sure that is why he is only minimally included on camera.

In conclusion, everyone was amazing, but in my heart Stray Kids are number 1. I had chills during the entire performance. I have casually listened to them and seen little clips of variety shows etc, but after this episode I became a fan. Hah, your face after BtoB was announced 3rd and you realized wich groups were left summarizes how I think quite many felt. For Hyunjin, I actually think they had way more footage of him especially since he is so popular, but I believe the accusations came out after they had filmed the first episode, so I think they just cut as much as they could. I'm also not going to say anything regarding the accusation, because I don't personally know anyone involved. Them cutting out Hyunjins parts is I think to avoid angry people for coming at not only the show but also the rest of the Stray Kids members. Anyway this episode kept me in suspence the entire week leading to episode 2. The subs are usually 99-100% ready in about 24h after the release. I think you'd propably have to wait max 2 days for the subs to be ready. Great reaction!

GAWWWWWWD, i had the exact same reaction and thoughts as you by the end of the first episode, the one week wait was torture!!! when is the next episode reaction coming?????

For this round they had to choose a song of theirs that has won a music show win, it's why sf9 only had 2 choices compared to ikon's many choices if that makes sense! I preferred iKON's and BTOB's performance the most personally! I was one of the 3.3 million people who watched these performances back in february and voted for my favourite ones. I came to the realisation after waiting all these weeks for kingdom to actually start, that their performance just stuck with me the best. The other 4 kind of blended together in my mind, whereas I could clearly remember BTOB's and iKON's performance! It's very important to me for a group to be unique and show their own colours and I think they did it the best! Like I said, I left episode one of kingdom as an ikonic and a melody lol! I could read the subs fine, but I also wouldn't mind them bigger since I'm watching these episodes myself anyways (before your reaction), so I'll know the gist of what they said

Yeah Hyunjin isn't shown much and is missing from episode 2 onward because of his bullying scandal, but i hope he is allowed to rejoin them as soon as possible because he is just such an integral part of SKZ.

I reacted to the end of the episode the exact same way lmao I was like "Are you fucking kidding me?!?!"....and my prediction was The Boyz were in 6th...which would make absolutely no sense but that is what my gut said. Can't waiiiit to see your reaction to the next episode! The subtitles being smaller is perfect for me. I can read it just fine :)

Nice ahahahaa :) The Boyz caught my attention by that switch up, especially because I'm a sucker for classical instrumental and contemporary dance And since I am also singing frequently, my ear is a bit sensitive to some 'flaws' when it is about choir style music Have you made list for the 1st round performances?

this is just a random tmi i remembered but BTOB's maknae Sungjae (currently enlisted) and JOY did a WE GOT MARRIED season togather, since ur a red velvet fan i was wondering if you knew, they were the cutest thing out there! it'd be fun if u could do some of this content here too, but that'd just be me being weird oh and ERIC NAM and SOLAR were on a season of the show too, the episode where the other members teased them was hilarious oooooh, and another tmi, solar is friends with BTOB's changsub, but u prolly already know that since she mentioned it in that weekly idol episode

For this first round so far I would honestly have the same ranking as the first episode, so 1. iKON, 2. BtoB and 3. tbz! I honestly think nothing and no one will be able to beat iKON this round (in my eyes) but I am very curious to see what the other groups will bring

BTOB´s Peniel is on "Get Real" on the Dive Pods and he is bald but not bc he wants to. At one point in their careers he got so stressed he started loosing hair and bc it didn´t get better and also he did not want to wear a wig, since then he will just always will shave his head.

And a little spoiler, you won´t see much of the hosts, especially Yunho of TVXQ, bc he got into a scandal. He violated some corona rules and did go to an entertainment bar (but the place officially is a restaurant) and it seemd they also are providing adult services. He got a lot of flak for that and had to leave kingdom. He was in the 3 episodes I saw until now, but don´t know if they cut a lot of the interactions with the hosts, or if they just are that passive for now at the beginning of the show. Oh and you called this video file, Road to Kindgom Episode 1 Part 2, and not Kindgom Episode 1 Part 2.

The Sunbae-Hoobae dynamic isn't about age, it's about respecting the experiences of someone who is senior in your field. A Sunbae can be younger than you if they started working before you, like how Ikon are Sunbaes to SF9, but some SF9 members are older. So Changbin and Wooyoung are same-age friends (both 1999), but Wooyong is the Hoobae as an idol who debuted later. The respect dynamic is also why you wont really hear the term hoobae-nim. Also, love Stray Kids, but the best song of 2020 was Taemin's Criminal :P
