For Ikon, Their leader was B.I, but he left in 2019.

I had to look it up because I wasn't sure. The Boyz debuted in December 2017. Stray Kids debuted in March 2018. Ateez debuted in October 2018. And please don't let Wooyoung's calm voice trick you. Boy screams so much and is loud lol. He's toned down on his speaking parts on here lmao

Stray Kids are adorable. I also felt bad for them, they all seemed so nervous, especially Chan and Felix. Ateez was amazing and so was BtoB. And I'm so happy about more live vocals. And yes, Peniel has appeared on Dive studios.

they blurred out ilhoon from btob, he left recently... sadly

hi_k99

yup, peniel does this thing with ashley and bm

hi_k99

the best part about kingdom for me is btob being dorks and other idols fanboying over them

So the blurred out guys in ikon's and btob's older clips are ex-members who left their groups due to 'scandals' (pretty sure it was all bs but i don't know the details) Also, btob did not want to participate in kingdom. They just had a member leave the group a few months ago and two members are currently in the military. Their group is simply incomplete, but mnet actually forced them to join. If they wouldn't, btob and other cube groups would not be allowed on mcountdown shows etc. Monsta x actually refused to join so now all starship ent. groups are not allowed to go on mcountdown. It blows my mind that this happened. I just hope this will still give btob some positivie exposure, cause yeah, they are not gonna win. Also, I think you missed it when they talked about it but the btob member sitting on the bottom right, minhyuk, is their rapper. But due to 2 members not being there, he had to take over a lot of vocal parts during the show and during this performance.

Smaller subs work, I am on a laptop most of the time and have no issues! Welcome to the suffering of seeing one of your favourite group compete on MNET, it's not going to be easy. I see you now understand when we mentioned they do NOT need elimination to bring the drama. I know all groups and appreciate them, but follow none of them, so this is a lot easier for me to follow without really being involved (so much more comfortable!). It was different from Queendom because I knew no groups, so I could not enjoy it as much. I miss the MC too, especially Lee Da Hee but she had a drama to film at the time (she is an actress, other MC is a freelancer ex announcer), but still sad they were so cute. I loved Ikon, which I was surprised about as probably among the teams they are the one I was less into, but I think I vibe much more with this genre of performance overall, where the focus is the enjoyment of the stage and love for what you do shines trough! And I liked the BTOB stage a lot, but to be fair my first kpop group was 2AM (throwback to the year 2010, it was my only kpop dive pre-corona) so I miss the days of just singing their hearts with smoke effects in the background. The camera work really did not work well for me, and it lost some impact of the other performances (I also think SKZ might have been mostly bc of Hyunjin editing), but to be fair I was not super impressed in RTK introductions at the beginning beside a selected few, and the real game starts now. As a note, voting had to be extended because all the fans crashed the app consistently trying to vote, as they said they were planning to have them all done on the same day, but that was a dream with the terrible infrastructure of the voting app. The results are going to be interesting with the voting method of 50% self and judge related, but it is to be seen if the other half from fans has really big gaps hard to overcome. Trust me it's going to be a looong journey, twitter and YT are crazy, the amount of coordination for voting and views is insane. They honestly could coordinate to overthrow a small country.

2021-11-03 19:11:56 Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet but there was also a 5min clip on youtube where the main dancers from each group did a solo stage that was pretty cool. If you have time to watch it I recommend it because it will give you a bit more insight into the groups you don't know as much as well as seeing San and Minho kill it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKQEfIOSKW8&t=1s

I didn't know BtoB prior to this so I'm happy they're on the show. I really hate it was done in this manner...but I LOVE their personalities and oh my gosh can they siiiiing.

Juuls

right! they are so likeable, I really hope many people will see that and can acknowledge their raw talent <3

I see that mnet is still denying it, so I guess it hasn't. But WJSN were not invited to an mcountdown show during their promotions for Unnatural, so... yeah

Stanley Maximillian

What player are you using to watch this? This is much better than the kshow

wowoooowow

Yeah, and they are super extra seniors, must be a bit awkward for the youngest groups, the others were less intimidating. Curious to see how Changmin MC alone changes things.
