You are, no doubt, wondering how things are going with this HUGE project which I really shouldn't have taken on. The answer: I've edited about 34 of the images so far (there are around 108 in total) and have provisionally thrown a few more of them into the developing montage... here's how it looks right now. Remember: this is all going to be published on a giant poster, so the final coloured images have to look fairly detailed. New additions here include the GIANT cirrate octopus Heuvelmans endorsed, the lukwata (imagined as a giant catfish), and two more giant long-necked pinnipeds. I'm pretty happy with how my colouring skills are developing, check out this rendition of the minhacao (it was imagined by Heuvelmans as an impossible 'burrowing glyptodont')....

... the problem is that everything takes AGES: I only finish one piece every few days. Seeing as I'm meant to be working (in 'spare time') on the marine reptiles book, taking this on now was silly. But I must get it done, and I will eventually.

New stuff continues to be published at TetZoo, here's a new book review if you haven't seen it already... http://tetzoo.com/blog/2021/5/17/ross-barnett-2019-the-missing-lynx

More soon! As always, thanks so much for your excellent support.
