Hello everyone! As usual for our current age, I don't feel like I'm achieving much -- certainly no progress on key projects (like the textbook). Though maybe that isn't entirely true... I decided recently to put all my thoughts on the infamous Naden Harbour carcass case together, both for a Twitter megathread (which is available here: https://twitter.com/TetZoo/status/1328004805147635713) AND as a TetZoo article. The latter has now been published, which meant compiling a good number of images. Hopefully it works as a good resource for the future. It's here... http://tetzoo.com/blog/2020/11/16/cadborosaurus-carcass-review

Oh, the montage above shows the Camp Fircom carcass, not the Naden Harbour one. I was surprised to discovery that my 1997 article on this carcass (Naish, D. 1997. Another Caddy carcass? The Cryptozoology Review2 (1), 26-29) was the first peer-reviewed article I published (I'd thought it was one of my Wealden theropod papers). I've made it into a pdf and have put it online: https://darrennaish.files.wordpress.com/2020/11/naish-d-1997-another-caddy-carcass-the-cryptozoology-review.pdf

Moving on, other things ARE happening. I'm currently putting the finishing touches to a longish paper on Dale Russell's dinosauroid project of 1980, due to be published in Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences. It's made it through review, and right now only a few tweaks are needed before I resubmit. I was going to share part of the paper here... but it's over 40 pages long, and I suspect you'd rather wait until the final thing is out. But let me know :)

The Dinopedia book is also ongoing, albeit very slowly. A selection of the text were sent out for review, and the main opinion from reviewers is that there's way too much on phylogenetics and taxonomy... so I have to get rid of that stuff. This frustrates me, but... there you go. I have much more to say on this book, but it'll have to wait. The illustrations for this book have yet to be done - I have to get to them soon, and I'll be sharing them here, so you'll get to see them first.

As per usual, most of what I'm going here is thanks to your support - thanks so much, as ever. More soon!
