October Update Delay (Patreon)

Hey guys, it's Andy here! I'm currently working on Gil Day 10 as fast as I can, but UNFORTUNATELY, it seems like there's a possibility that I'll have to delay releasing the update. 

The reason of this delay is that I've been flying around and out of the country for work and other things...and speaking of, I have another flight in two days, and I won't be home until next month. The other reason is that my sister who I haven't seen for years just came back home, so I wanted to spend time with her. 

Just recently, Avi (yes, the same one in-game), also returned home after working overseas for years, so I took a few days off to spend some time with him as well. 

I'll admit this is a lack of preparation on my end, and me wanting to get some days off, so I apologize for the delay, and I'll make sure to deliver the update once I'm able to!

As my apology offering, here's a sneak peek of somethings (worth mentioning) we've been working on, aside of Gil day 10!

CG poll winner, Gil:

Making CG that needs you to show the character's back (and shoes) is a challenge, since we don't have refs for that, I have to make one to make sure it stays consistent to the character. BG isn't any easier either, since we don't have another view outside of our current backgrounds, so I have to provide some things to our artists.

Ediltrudis side image:

Considering the lukewarm response coming from the new side images...Ven and I worked especially hard to ensure that the side image stays true and consistent with Wolgen's style. After hundreds of adjustments later, we came up with this.

If you guys think this is acceptable or even nice-looking, then we'll redo all of the existing side images so it's consistent and dynamic. Do let me know!

I think that's all I can show you guys, there's a lot of dev-side things that's not worth mentioning here...oh, wait, we'll have (G10 if I have to delay it, and) A10 next month, I promise!

Thank you for the information! What’s important is you take care of what you need to do. Life happens and if you need to take a break, then do so. It’s understandable. Better to have something delayed and polished than something rushed. Stay safe during your travels and thanks for doing what you do!
