Intel Report #2 (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone,
Welcome to Intel Report 2! This has been quite an exciting week, so let’s get stuck into it.
Firstly, work on the Vera x Dictator artwork for the scene that appears at the start of the game is pretty much done, just some final tweaks need to be made and those are going to be done today. Once completed the artist will move on to getting Doctor Hart’s character sprite completed.
I also got a few silhouettes done by my artist for random side-characters that can appear during the game. I will be able to modulate the colours of these to represent various characters that don’t have a big role in the game.
I have also had some voice acting work done by MagicalMysticVA for Molly and I will be posting some of those lines on the one-week heroine sneak peek channel in the discord (hope to see you there if you aren’t already).
Writing and coding has been going well, I squashed a few bugs, optimized performance, fixed a bunch of compatibility issues, and managed to cutdown the overall size of OWH game files. Once the new artwork is in, I plan to do a final demo version for the game that will have everything up to the hub, including artwork. I will then launch v0.20 that will include all the mission for the first day. I will be releasing this version to my Agents and Handlers (and to Substack subscribers) a week early.
One last thing, I am making future Intel Reports limited to paid subscribers. Major update news will still be public (the monthly/bi-monthly progress updates) but I feel like I need to provide more value to those who have decided to put their trust in me whilst the game is yet to have a proper release.
I still won’t be charging for Intel Report posts themselves, and as always, you will only get charged (on Patreon) in a month that saw at least 1 major release (which has yet to happen haha, my artwork fund be looking a bit barebones right now).
I tossed and turned about this one quite a bit and although I think this is the right way to go, I am happy to hear what you guys think and I am very much open to be swayed on the matter. Anyway, hope to see you all next week for another Intel Report!
