Also, this scene wasn't in the original script. But I didn't want Jack to be a mere damsel in distress. I thought it would play better to give him at least a fighting chance (and the opportunity to knock out one of his assaulters....although, to be honest, if Reina didn't interfere, both of these dudes would be in the hospital now...)
