To be honest...it was not my intention to have Gabby walking mindlessly into the street, nor show Charlene as a bad mother XD

I just wanted to portrait somehow that Charlene simply doesn't want to meet strangers or be seen...well...kinda failed, I guess.

Although, maybe it does reinforce her character that she has problems to overcome her shyness quick enough to keep her kid out of a dangerous situation...I kinda feel bad about that :<

Aside of that...I don't have a lot to say about this strip, sorry ^^

As an anime/manga/comic book/cartoon consumer for many years I don't see them as an accurate reflection of real life so I don't get upset about it. Some things that occur in anime still make me wince and I've consumed a lot of it. But I do understand you don't want your characters to appear in an unintentional negative light. I'm sure as the strip progresses we'll come to know the characters better. It's early yet.

Thank you. Yes, I agree with you. I think in fiction, especially if it's comedy based, there should be some freedoms from reality. Although I have to say...I'm a bit embarrassed when people point out certain flaws which are simply ill logic and do nothing for the joke... I was hoping the last arc would be better received, but I fear I threw off a lot of people. Sedine was too wacky and calling a baby 'Satan' due to it's look was unwise (every parent would be mad just by thinking someone would call their kid that...) and Gabby walking into the street left a rather negative impression of Charlene too. I hope you are right and people give me and the strip some slack, since it's still early in the story. Some character are meant to mislead the reader at their first appearance ...but Charlene wasn't meant to be one of them ;3; I appreciate your opinion and thanks for your support :3

I think your characters are great, with each being unique and interesting. As for the comic, I like it, a lot! It tends to be the one I look forward to most when I pull up my daily list of ~20 comics.. One thing, if I may, don't let the vocal minority (yes I realize I am part of that at this moment) influence your direction and design too much. This is your world and your characters, take them where you will!

Thanks a lot for your kind words and support. That's a real encouragement and I really appreciate that X3 I'm also happy to hear you are looking forward for the strip every day. That totally makes my day :D And don't worry, I'm not intending to change the strip inside out due to some criticism. However, if there are comments with some legit critic, I think it can't harm to consider tweaking some details. But I certainly do not want to abandon the original idea nor the way I thought up the characters ^^ Anyway, I'm really glad to hear you enjoy the strip for what it is. I'll do my best to keep it up :>
