fortune favors fools pt3 (early access) (Patreon)

Early release of yet another semi uncensored episode. The official version of this episode will be published tomorrow morning as an early access episode behind an ad-wall on the Webtoons app.

In the censored version two panels are missing because I felt like they might be a bit too...edgy XD

To be honest, on one side I hate removing those panels because it makes this already short episode even shorter. On the other side the censored version looks actually better to me. I guess I kinda tried to hard this time ^^"

When I drafted this scene it was actually in combination with the next episode. And, to be honest, if I kept those two episodes as a whole the whole scene would've played a lot better. But it would've been a huge episode (30+ panels) and kinda have to try and keep these episodes somewhat short and manageable ....and this was the best cut I could apply.

On a side note: When 'Kitten' was nominated for the 'Webtoons award' last year and the idea of becoming a featured artist became actually realistic, I was considering reworking the project, making it more plot driven and have the jokes being more patting and such. I would've probably started with EP#15 (curiosity killed the cat) and went right into this current arc (Fortune favors fools). Basically telling the story from the point when they met and how they (or mostly Rup) getting used to each other. Man, I would've really loved to do that.  (Although I probably had to watch the whole run of 'Urusei' and 'Ah! my goddess' in order to get a better idea how to handle a story like that without making it just cutesy fan service ^^")

Well, but in the end I didn't win the award and was not chosen or approached for a featured contract. Doesn't mean it won't happen but I feel like I'll just carry on and the project the way I was envisioning it. I still have plenty of material, some drama, some jokes, some more designs. So it's not like that I'm dropping this because things didn't work out like I hoped they would. But I just wanted to share my vision of what could've been if 'Kitten' was just a tad more popular ^^
