Oh, my poor Hubbs, what have we done to you. ..well, at least he was happy for as long as it lasted. ._.

(spoiler, husband drew a rough for a strip 4 years ago and we have said rough in our art room since then and are like 'one day we'll reach that moment where we will use that particular rough/strip. And...that day is merely a couple months away. So *cues Senku voice* get excited ;P)

About this arc/set of roughs. I admit....I loved the idea of the whole plot. But I felt rather uncomfortable drawing this. I mean, giving birth in a car sounds quite awful, if you ask me ._.)

I think my husband came up with the idea (I wouldn't have the guts for stuff like this, tbh) and I think it's a proper entry for little baby Al :)

Original we wanted to keep the babie's gender ambiguous but...we kinda blew that pretty early on, I guess. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or a curse since basing jokes on guessing someone's gender, even if it's a tiny little potato like Al, can easily become questionable or even offense towards non binary folks. So in the long run it's probably better this way.

On the other hand, I doubt people would've bought a third baby girl in this strip. so even if we would've stuck to the original plan, people would've probably figured it out sooner than later.

I actually plan on having adult Al appear in 'Kitten' one day. I already have a design in mind but I don't know where exactly to use it. He'll be like the Spanish Inquisition, *muahahaha*

I...feel sorry for Sedine's Kimono and her 'lolita-attire'. that stuff is so expensive....and once ruined, it's ruined :( But it was kinda fun have her squashed in the front seat. I don't think this is realistic, tho. we had a more modern bug and for me, a 5 foot woman, sitting in the back bench is really uncomfortable...even when there is nobody in the front seat and you can push it all the way into the dashboard (had to do that when we got our current cat and I wanted to calm him down in his carrier, so I sat with him in the back of the car).

Four adults, including a 6 foot Sam, a 200 lbs muscle machine like Hubbs and a pregnant Ellie....nope, nope, nope. Even without Sam that would not fit like this. Guess the bug is more a clowns car in the case XD

Anyway, I hope you like this set of tips. I'm working on the first colored Sunday strip and the next pin up as of right now. I'll get those done within the next week, promised ^^

I liked this arc and thought you handled it really well. Have you been able to get back into your "drawing room" in the breezeway yet? I have a nice kerosene heater I'd give you if we were a few miles closer :o)

Thank you. Yeah, we are back for a couple weeks now. actually, it's getting quite warm out here now. It's crazy, one day you have to bundle up inside your home, next day you can run around in a tank top on your yard and you are merely chilly...the magic of ND XD
