an uncommon couple WIP (Patreon)

And here the WIPs of the small Sam and Charlene arc. As I mentioned before, we planned on pairing these two since the beginning of the year. But finding a situation was a bit tricky.

My husband suggested that Sam should be like a fill-in husband, taking care about Roy's kid while he's in the hospital and driving Charlene nuts (in a way that he's too....normal). I liked that idea and wished to make this situation span over several days. But hubby felt like that that scenario would look a bit like wife swapping. So instead we kinda settled on them hanging out together for just one evening, until they'd retrieve the kids.

The 'one rotten apple spoils the whole bunch' strip was a last minute add on. (hence the missing sharpie part). I felt like Charlene's reaction might not be understandable enough, so I added that one while penciling the others in order to point out her whole though process of Roy influencing Sam...this poor woman needs therapy 0_0
