raving reporters pt3 WIP (Patreon)

And the next batch of WIPs. Starter makes...a controversial one.

I don't want to repeat or dwell on the critic on this strip. I'm not butt hurt over it and I get and accept the point some readers were making. So I don't think it's needed to discuss it any further.

What I find strange, I felt like there were other strips in this arc (such as the child blood drinking senator) That would people get upset. Somehow I didn't think this one would be amongst the problematic strips. But then again, as creator you sometimes grow blind to the mischief of your own creation and a wake up call once in a while is not a bad thing :)

The Old folks strip with good old Muten Roshi. I originally had in mind showing him in his 'Jackie Chun' alias. But I wasn't sure if that would've played that well (especially since a lot of people liked the 'Dragon Ball Z' series but dismissed the original 'Dragon Ball' series....which is kinda a shame. I felt like kid Goku was a lot cuter and the story itself more appealing...especially since Kuririn wasn't dying in like every arc XD)

Anyway, Since I mentioned controversial strips, I thought Edith dropping the S-word at Sedine would've be a lot bigger shock towards the audience. I mean, it's quite an insult. Hubby on the other hand felt like I'm overthinking since that word just describes a lewd female and therefore is perfectly fine....Maybe Muten Roshi was distracting people well enough that they let this one pass. I dunno ^^"

And finally, toilet humor. Yay!

Not much to say about this one, except....I regret that I didn't change the dialogue of the camera man. I think him mentioning that a security guard got shot kinda took away the  vagueness of who shot who. But then again, we needed Sedine to flip out so....yeah, dialogue is tricky >.<
