And the reveal of Ellie's wedding dress. Since we knew that we wanted to have the wedding around the Christmas time, I felt like the best approach for her dress would be Christmas themed. therefore I gave her a long Santa hood/cape  which is worn over her dress. The dress itself is meant to be, unlike Charlene's and Sedine's, more modern and skin tight. It's actually really fun drawing her dress because you don't see her legs or feet. So I don't have to worry about posing them :)

On the cover of our next book Ellie will be seen in her dress too. However, I removed the cape because I wanted to keep her outfit simple and because I didn't want that people see the book as a Christmas book or such. But, to be honest, I really like the cape.

As a matter of fact, originally the cape was meant to replace the veil all together, as you can see in the second sketch which I drew a couple years ago. (Oh Gosh, time flies 0_0")

But then I felt like a wedding dress without a veil is just off to me. So, there ya go. :)

This colored sketch was done with alcohol marker and Posca pen again. The white Posca brush pen worked great for the veil because it kept it semi translucent. Same goes with the boke effects surrounding Ellie. Also, I tried again doing a plush effect on the cape which, thanks to the light base color, turned out pretty nice too :)

I'm not sure if I like the brush pen or not, because, when I used it on a previous drawing it was really tedious. But this time it worked really nice. so...I guess I should focus on lighter colors when using said pen.

Anyway, I hope you like it :)
