Tricked-WIP (Patreon)

Oh, Hubby Lobby....I'm so not looking forward posting those WIPs ...mostly because my memories of drawing this weren't that great, I guess :(

This arc....was a deadline killer. We were constantly behind and hardly able to keep up. All thanks to crowds, parking loots and shelfs....lotsa shelfs.

I think this was the first arc where I really started to lose enjoyment in drawing this comic...and I'm not even salty over the story itself. Although there are things in in where I wish I could've handled them a bit better, such as addressing the reason Charlene took Roy with him, Why Roy didn't use a cellphone to call up his credit card company or why Charlene simply didn't use her own money. All of these could've been explained within the story but...yeah, I either expected the audience to think of an answer themself (like that you can't leave Roy at home alone ;P) or just didn't think things through....oh well.

On top of that, this arc was sooooo long. Not only did it feel like I was working on it forever (and will work on it forever), some people also got tired of it which just added to my frustration about it. Not that I'm angry about critic but...you know, if you struggle through something you don't enjoy yourself and get negative commentary it just kills your mood even further :<

On a positive note, the arc is over and what I'm working on at the moment is a lot more pleasant for me. So while I was burning out on 'Hubby Lobby', I wasn't burning out on 'in SECURITY'.

So nothing to get worried about :)
