I'm back baby! (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know that I'm 'back in the office' so to speak. The time off was highly beneficial, I feel a bit more reinvigorated now.
I've spent some time away from home so I wasn't tempted to push myself too much and overextend as I have been doing on koikatsu/comic works so sorry for not responding to messages.

Thanks to everyone for their well-wishes, it always lifts my spirits to see such kindness on the internet. Who knew that the internet and the underneath of bridges aren't only occupied wholly by trolls? Seriously, watch those bridges.

sent my way. It made my day.

Okay, so what is happening now? I hear the collective that is you cry out in anticipation.
Well, more Requited Change for next Friday. Like a doofus, I remembered saying that I'd release something today, but I only got back yesterday and the small thing I wanted to do can't be done as I need to fix koikatsu. It was one of many caption pieces that I used for educational purposes- to tighten my writing style a bit more on my break. I couldn't get the image for the piece rendered though as the KKS software isn't working properly so I'll release that a bit later in the week when I get it fixed. Again. Sigh.

So... what was I doing before going away? Hmm... well...
I worked on TLotK some more. The update isn't quite ready yet, but I forgot how much I missed game development until I returned. Far more laborious, but satisfying nonetheless, which reminds me...

I'm sure that those in the TFGames site circles know of a little-known game called 'Magical Camp', and how the developers of said game have taken a break from their project. Well...

Allow me to introduce 'Magical Camp - Cutie Escape' - my homage to the game that sent me on my self-employment path. The intro has been made in RPG Maker MZ and is more at a conceptual stage than anything else as of this post. I want to make it as genuine to the source article within reason. The concept is that our effeminate hapless hero stumbles onto the scene of a magico massacre. A Magical Camp fairy recruiter mistakenly believes that he was the 'girl' who accomplished such a feat and whisks him away to be a part of a new league of magical girls separate from the original camp.

This is the project that I've been doing in my own time to assist with my diction and prose.

As long as HLF doesn't mind me making a spinoff I'll go ahead and make it, if they do then I'll alter the title and setting, it's no big deal either way, it'll still very much have those Magical Camp vibes. I hope. It's far from its first release anyway.  I just don't want to step on their toes by 'stealing' their IP.

Well, on that I'll leave you all to absorb that wall of text. I'll see you all Friday.
