This is a great episode. So interesting to see Henry and Josie again, and to see how Josie became possessed. Poor thing. So my thought is that Josie's human soul would have died and gone (hopefully to heaven) when Dean sliced off Abaddon's head the first time and chopped the body up. The demon may have kept living in the chopped up shell of Josie's body, but I can't imagine Josie survived it. And in fact, I hope she didn't, cause what a horrible existence that would be. When the nun told Sam that she wasn't the only one doing the soul stealing operation, she meant that Abaddon had others like her stealing souls all over the country. Crowley isn't doing it. I think the idea of the soul stealing is that she's taking people's souls, and then demonizing that soul. So that bright white light of their soul would be turned into the black smoke of a demon. Then they can possess whoever they want. I don't think they necessarily need to go back to their original human body. So basically it's doubly awful because Abaddon is *creating* demons so that she can have a huge army of demons that are loyal only to her, and then she's also leaving behind empty, soulless humans. 😬 Very not good. The mark is definitely badly affecting Dean. That fear of, and pull towards, the blade would be quite a burden. I want to give him all the hugs. ☹️ Loved all the scenes between him and Crowley. I think I'd refer to their relationship as that of two "frenemies". 😁 I agree that there's definitely still unspoken, unresolved things between Sam and Dean, but we also saw Sam worried about his brother again. I think the stuff with the Ghostfacers and then everything that happened last episode with Magnus and the blade has reminded Sam that whatever Dean's mistakes, he is IN FACT his brother and he cares (very much) about what happens to him. I think Misha did a great job directing this one. And, of course, loved your reaction. Can't wait for the next one - it's awesome! ❤️
