JENA: Hello Pledgehammers! Here are the options for this month's WrestleTalk Extra!

WCW Starrcade 1989 (suggested by Mani Umaria)

Future Shock! A unique PPV. The event solely featured the Iron Man and Iron Team tournaments. The participants were Sting, Lex Luger, Ric Flair and The Great Muta for the Iron Man tournament, and Doom, The Steiner Brothers, The Road Warriors and The New Wild Samoans (replacing The Skyscrapers due to Sid Vicious' injury) for the Iron Team tournament. This event varied from other Starrcade events by only featuring the tournaments, only showcasing a small amount of wrestlers, and not featuring title defenses.

WCW Starrcade 1990 (suggested by Rob James)

It's an event full of tag team matches for the Pat O'Connor Memorial International Cup Tag Team Tournament, a steel cage match between Sting and The Black Scorpian, and a Texas Lariat Match between Stan Hansen and Lex Luger.

WCW Starrcade 1997 (suggested by Chuck Turner)

“Hogan’s a colorful guy… but his nightmare’s black ‘n white. Paybacks Are Hell!” Actual tagline there for this PPV. Matches include Larry Zbyszko v. Eric Bischoff (with special referee Bret Hart), Eddie Guerrero v. Dean Malenko and Sting v. Hollywood Hogan.

WWF In Your House: Rock Bottom 1998 (suggested by Rob Burwell)

"Considering how successful the year of 1998 was for the WWF, it kind of sucks to see the PPV side end on such a whimper.” is one review of this show. Matches include Stone Cold v. Undertaker, Mankind v. The Rock, Steve Blackman v. Owen Hart and The Brood v. The J.O.B. Squad.

WCW Starrcade 2000 (suggested by Austin Shrock)

The final WCW Starrcade. A 2007 review of this show stated “Considering the cavalcade of crap that [led] into Starrcade it was almost certainly going to be a disaster.” This card included Mike Awesome v. Bam Bam Bigelow, The Insiders v. The Perfect Event, Goldberg v. Lex Luger and Scott Steiner v. Sid Vicious.

WWE Armageddon 2008 (suggested by Isaac Octave)

The final Armageddon event to date, and featured Jeff Hardy vs Edge vs Triple H for the WWE Championship in the main event. John Cena vs Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship, Batista vs Randy Orton, CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio and more made up the rest of the card.

WWE TLC 2009 (suggested by “He Ran” Aaron Hanrahan)

That scary Jericho bump! Also, the introduction of a chairs-only match! This weapon-filled show included DX v. Jeri-Show, Drew McIntyre v. John Morrison, Sheamus v. John Cena and The Undertaker v. Batista.

ROH Final Battle 2012 (suggested by Garrett Albright)

Final Battle 2021: Doomsday was main evented by Kevin Steen vs El Generico in a Ladder War for the ROH World Title. In a three-way tag match for the Tag Titles were The Briscoes, S.C.U.M. (Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino), and C&C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander), as well as Adam Cole vs Matt Hardy, Mike Bennett vs Jerry Lynn, Jay Lethal vs Rhino, Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) vs Rhett Titus & BJ Whitmer, and more.
