Hello Pledge Hammers!

It's that time, once again, for everybody to jump aboard the POOOOOOOOLL TRAIN! Read all the choices down below and make your voice heard! And remember, don't be a dick about the choices or the what people have voted for. This is a cool community full of nice people. Be those nice people.

This month is an extra special month. As we've had several requests through email, messages and comments, we've decided to listen to you! For this month only, main roster WWE/F PPVs were out of contention. Only non-WWE main roster PPVs were eligible. As such, we've got an eclectic selection of shows to choose from this month, so have at it! If you're not too keen on this, we'll be back to normal next month.

WCW The Great American Bash 1995 (suggested by Matt Field)

Harlem Heat, Arn Anderson, Sting, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, DDP, Jim Duggan and Brian Pillman, there's plenty of talent going around on this card.

WCW The Great American Bash 1998 (suggested by Lendell Brenson)

Chris Jericho faced Dean Malenko for the Cruiserweight Championship, Chavo Guerrero faced Eddie Guerrero, Booker T took on Fit Finlay, Goldberg took on Konnan, Hulk Hogan & Bret Hart faced Roddy Piper and Randy Savage, and Sting took on The Giant in the main event.

WCW The Great American Bash 1999 (suggested by Flame Inc. Live)

"The real fireworks start June 13th!" That was the tagline for this show that featured Ric Flair vs Roddy Piper, Rick Steiner vs Sting, DDP & Chris Kanyon vs Chris Benoit & Perry Saturn, and Kevin Nash vs Randy Savage in the main event for the WCW Title.

WCW The Great American Bash 2000 (suggested by James Jericho)

One year later, and it was time for The Wall to take on Shane Douglas, Mike Awesome vs DDP, Hollywood Hogan vs Billy Kidman, Ric Flair vs David Flair, Vampiro vs Sting and Kevin Nash vs Jeff Jarrett for the WCW Championship.

TNA Slammiversary 2006 (suggested by Peter Greaves)

This card features the likes of Kevin Nash vs Chris Sabin, AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs America's Most Wanted, Samoa Joe vs Scott Steiner, and Jeff Jarrett vs Christian Cage vs Abyss vs Ron Killings vs Sting in a King of the Mountain match for the NWA World Championship.

TNA Slammiversary 2007 (suggested by Tyler Wright)

Jay Lethal vs Chris Sabin, Bob Backlund vs Alex Shelley, Eric Young vs Robert Roode, Sting vs Christopher Daniels, and Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Chris Harris in the main event for the vacant TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

ROH Death Before Dishonor VIII [2010] (suggested by Joey Gianella)

2010 saw the birth of Kevin Steen vs El Generico, (Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn), and this PPV sees their first singles match in their legendary rivalry. Not only that, but we also have The Kings of Wrestling (Cesaro & Kassius Ohno/Chris Hero) vs The Briscoes, and Tyler Black (Seth Rollins) vs Davey Richards.

ROH Best in the World 2012 (suggested by Tom Delves)

Kevin Steen faced Davey Richards for the ROH World Championship in an Anything Goes match, while Adam Cole faced Kyle O'Reilly in a Hybrid Fighting Rules match. Roderick Strong faced Tommaso Ciampa and Jay Lethal for the Television Championship as well.

TNA Slammiversary XI [2013) (suggested by Justin Edelheit)

A four-way elimination tag match pits Gunner and James Storm against Austin Aries & Bobby Roode vs Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) vs Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez, Jeff Hardy, Magnus & Samoa Joe faced Aces & Eights members Garett Bischoff, Mr. Anderson and Wes Brisco, AJ Styles faced Kurt Angle and Bully Ray faced Sting in the main event.

NJPW Dominion 6.21 [2014] (suggested by Sören Nordh)

Taking place in 2014, this card features Kota Ibushi vs Ricochet for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title, AJ Styles & Yujiro Takahashi vs Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii, Time Splitters vs The Young Bucks, and Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bad Luck Fale, as well as many other stacked matches.

ROH Best in the World 2015 (suggested by Your Best Friend Neon PALette)

You want to talk about stacked, you talk about this card. Mark Briscoe vs Donovan Dijak, Dalton Castle vs Silas Young, War Machine vs C&C Wrestle Factory, Roderick Strong vs Michael Elgin vs Moose, Bullet Club vs The Kingdom (AJ Styles & The Young Bucks vs Adam Cole, Michael Bennett and Matt Taven), The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) vs reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) and Jay Lethal vs Jay Briscoe. Now that is a card.

NXT TakeOver: The End [2016] (suggested by Dalton Sizemore)

Following NXT TakeOver: Dallas, The Revival had a rematch against American Alpha, Andrade faced off against Tye Dillinger, Shinsuke Nakamura fought Austin Aries, Asuka faced Nia Jax and Samoa Joe faced Finn Balor in a Steel Cage for the NXT Championship.

TNA Slammiversary 2016 (suggested by Marcus Campbell)

Aptly for the current WWE product, the main event of this show is Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre (or in this case Lashley vs Drew Galloway) for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but this card also features Jeff Hardy vs Broken Matt, EC3 vs Mike Bennett, as well as the likes of Eli Drake, Gail Kim, Trevor Lee and Eddie Edwards.

WCPW Fight Back 2017 (suggested by Zander Mania)

Why not? WCPW Fight Back featured Kay Lee Ray vs Viper (w/Bea Priestley), Gabriel Kidd vs Zack Gibson for the Internet Championship, Rampage vs Dave Mastiff vs El Ligero vs Joe Coffey, and Joe Hendry vs Martin Kirby for the WCPW World Championship in a Last Man Standing Match. And there might be a promo from some guy called Adam Blampied. Never heard of him.

ROH Best in the World 2017 (suggested by Jonathan Hedman)

Kushida vs Marty Scurll, Frankie Kazarian vs Adam Page, Dalton Castle and The Boys vs Bully Ray and The Briscoes, Jay Lethal vs Silas Young, The Young Bucks vs War Machine (Viking Raiders) vs Best Friends, capped off with Cody vs Christopher Daniels for the ROH World Championship.

NJPW Dominion 6.9 [2018] (suggested by Peter Brantuas)

You know which one this is. A no-time limit two out of three falls match match between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada that went over an hour. But elsewhere on the show, Chris Jericho faced Tetsuya Naito for the Intercontinental Championship, Will Ospreay faced Hiromu Takahashi for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title, Bullet Club faced Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jushin Thunder Liger and Rey Mysterio, as well as many, many more.

wXw Superstars of Wrestling 2019 (suggested by DAN)

There's plenty of recognisable names on this card, including WALTER, Joey Janela, Brian Cage, Lucky Kid, Ilja Dragunov, Aussie Open, Hardcore Holly, Toni Storm, Ken Shamrock and Bobby Gunns.

OTT WrestleRama 3 (suggested by Dylan From Cork) [2019]

There are some names you're sure to recognise on this card, such as Zack Gibson, Darby Allin, Jordan Devlin, Bandido, Jimmy Havoc and of course the main event of WALTER vs David Starr.

This was a tough one. I’ve recently joined, listened for years, and wow, these shows are all bangers. What a great community of wrestling fans.

Jonathan V Hedman

My ROH pick would have been an interesting look at what basically is for the most part an AEW show today. Plus Kushida vs the Villain that’s worth the torrent in of itself. :)

ItzSmashley

It's gta be WCPW Adam was literally on the show!

Martin Harman

If WCPW wins, can it be a 3 way with Adam included? INSIDER KNOWLEDGE!

Andy Burgess

Thanks for listening to us, I'm happy with any of these 😁

Jaylen Leavell

I remember hearing them doing a review of this show already on the podcast and I heard them talk about omega/okada match on rambleclub.

that guy who want to support

They did a mini review of the show only glancing over the top matches. They did talked about Okada/Omega and Naito/Jericho but 1st not all pledgehammers have access to that. 2nd there are other really good matches on show. And 3rd I think part of the fun of the extra podcast is the hindsight perspective and the backstage news from the time that came since. Personally I would still prefer them doing Dominion 2017 but this will still be very fun

Jaylen Leavell

You are right I didn't think about the other pledgehammers, and I would like to hear about the backstage stuff more

Steveisnotmyname

As great as that Dominion 2018 was, this may be our only chance to get Adam on here to review and discuss a PPV he was a part of! Please vote for the WCPW show!

Nick Corvello

Dang... I kinda wish one of the 2019 AEW PPVs was a selection. Oh well. I voted for WCW Bash 95. Curious to try to remember what was going on the 1 year iw at he'd WCW, and before the nWo nonetheless

Lorenzo Haynes

Didn’t they already review Dominion 2018.???

Andy Buckley

Sorry, has to be WCW The Great American Bash 1998. You got me with the first couple of matches. Jerhico vs Malenko and Chavo vs Eddie.

Zander Ramsey-Carver

I'm kinda glad my suggestion didn't win, I feel like Blampied would hate me if he had to do extra work because of my suggestion 😂
