Hello Pledge Hammers!

We hope our $5+ Hammers enjoyed our TNA Destination X 2011 review! And the poll for our August episode is now open! It's a summer sizzler, dominated by two companies. Here's what's on offer!

WWF Summerslam 1992 (suggested by Will Haight)

It's a PPV that England holds very dearly. It had the biggest attendance for a WWF show - but was ignored by the company as it wasn't WrestleMania, it wasn't in the US and the buy-rate wasn't all that great due to the time difference. But it's Summerslam 1992 from Wembley in bloody ol' Blighty! Featuring Davey Boy Smith vs. Bret Hart in the main event.

ECW Hardcore Heaven 1997 (suggested by Chris Merryman)

This was ECW's second ever PPV, and features a triple threat in the main event between Shane Douglas, Terry Funk and Sabu! Also on the show, Rob Van Dam takes on Al Snow, The Dudley Boyz face PG-13 and Tommy Dreamer fights Jerry "The King" Lawler. Yes, that Jerry Lawler.

ECW Heat Wave 1998 (suggested by Kyle Rowley)

Fun fact: Oli and I have sort of watched this PPV together already! And it's a bloody good one too! RVD and Sabu take on Hayabusa and Jinsei Shinzaki, Taz faces Bam Bam Bigelow in an awesome match, and in the main event The Dudley Boyz go to war with Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman and Spike Dudley.

WWF Summerslam 2000 (suggested by Lendell Brenson)

It's Oli Davis' favourite PPV of all-time! Well, he thinks it is anyway. He had it on DVD and watched it a lot at the very least. It's a triple threat match for the WWF Championship with The Rock defending against both Kurt Angle and Triple H! Also on the card is the first ever TLC match between Edge & Christian, The Hardyz and The Dudley Boyz.

WWE Summerslam 2002 (suggsted by Phil Stopford)

It's Rock vs. Brock as The Next Big Thing attempts to become the youngest WWE Champion in history! Also on the show, Shawn Michaels makes his in-ring return for the first time in a looooong time and, oddly, The Undertaker faces Test. Test of all people!

WWE Summerslam 2010 (suggested by Real Dan's Dan)

It's the PPV that nearly made Oli stop watching wrestling all together. No seriously, this nearly tipped him over the edge. Team WWE must come together to take on the Nexus - but how will they manage?! Also on the show, Rey Mysterio faces Kane, Randy Orton takes on Sheamus for the WWE Championship and - get this - Dolph Ziggler takes on Kofi Kingston! I'm sure you all remember that one.
