Hello Pledge Hammers!

We hope that you enjoyed our Judgment Day 2000 review! But we must now look ahead to the month of June! We've had some great suggestions from our $25+ backers, and now it's up to you to cast your vote and let us know what you'd like us to review.

We decided to try and avoid Attitude Era WWF for a change.

WCW Great American Bash 1995 (suggested by Phil Stopford)

It's the last Great American Bash before the Nitro-era of WCW! We've got Sing vs. Meng and Ric Flair taking on Randy Savage in the main event! Plus, an arm wrestling challenge between Dave Sullivan and DDP!

TNA 19/6/2002 (suggested by Rob Pontin)

Now here's an interesting one. Prior to them getting a weekly TV show, TNA used to be a weekly PPV - and this was the first one! The main event is a gauntlet for the gold as stars such as Ken Shamrock, Brian Christopher, Jeff Jarrett, Konnan, Scott Hall, Rick Steiner, Buff Bagwell and more compete for the NWA World's Championship. Really if you take out Shamrock and Christopher it sounds like any WCW PPV from 2000.

ECW One Night Stand 2005 (suggested by Chris Merryman)

ECW! ECW! The phoenix rose from the ashes as Rob Van Dam convinced Vince McMahon to hold an Extreme Championship Wrestling reunion show in 2005! But, you know, without any of the lads who were blacklisted by the company. They went and did the other ECW reunion show.

WWE Extreme Rules 2009 (suggested by Lendell Brenson)

From one extreme to the other, Extreme Rules 2009 features Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship in a ladder match, Batista vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship in a cage match, and Santina vs. Chavo and Vickie Guerrero in a Hog Pen Match. And don't forget, CM Punk is lurking around with that Money in the Bank briefcase...

WWE Capitol Punishment 2011 (suggested by DAAAAAAN!)

But never mind that s**t, here comes Capitol Punishment 2011! John Cena defends the WWE Championship against R-Truth, Randy Orton takes on Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship and Alex Riley faces The Miz in a grudge match! It's the final WWE PPV in a pre-Pipebomb world...

Oh that WCW one sounds tempting. That's the one which lead to Flair losing booking power isn't it?

Will Haight

I don’t think anything is going to beat One Night Stand

Lorenzo Haynes

I don’t like any of the choices lol

Marcel Durer

I've voted for TNA

Phil Stopford

I actually have no idea. I only know random facts about WCW. WWF/E on the other hand..... #needtobroadenmyhorizons

WCW shows should always win.

SgtPepper. Yes Oli, THAT SgtPepper!

come on all you millenials, let's relive some past WCW lore. Bobby the brain on commentary is enough for my vote!!

Phil Stopford

I appreciate your vote, and I'm a none WCW guy wanting to hear something different for once, but it's against ECW ONS....

Lorenzo Haynes

Lol I wish I could u guys deserve it 😃 love all your content! Keep up the great work!

SgtPepper. Yes Oli, THAT SgtPepper!

yeah. u r right thank goodness for WHW I guess. I get my fix from Tony and Conrad, but I'd LOVE to hear "LOli's" opinion on old skool Rasslin'

LUKE: I don't want to toot our own horn, but I would imagine our commentary would be slightly more complex than, "I wasn't there for that, but look at Medusa's tits."

wrestletalk

LUKE: I would love to do some TNA episodes. Particularly around the 2004-2007 era.

Me and my father would watch it together but when WWE ECW slowly became less ECW when Haymen left WWE he stopped watching so I did. It wasn't till around when Royal Rumble 2009 I started watching by my self because I heard around the school yard Jeff Hardy was champion

SgtPepper. Yes Oli, THAT SgtPepper!

Normally Luke, I'd agree wholeheartedly. But in that S word- kicking, deep american southern twang, its Flipping HILARIOUS. Just like i can listen to u and Oli read the telephone book (or discuss "spooning") and be rivited by your British cadences. I love WTalk. I am a proud member of SwaftNation, and even prouder Pledgehammer! I just feel i am in the minority amongst the Nation that would relish a little non wwe/f nostalgia rambling. No offense mate.

Chris Merryman

I really hope this gets to 49% so it can be the biggest blow out win of any poll that's been done on here

New percentage record! ECW ONS > Wrestlemania X-7

Wasn't difficult mate. Come on. ONS was going to floor it. That's why I asked for mine to be removed. lol

Chris Merryman

I just rewatched it yesterday and it is so good. From beginning to end it's great, only thing is that is spawned WWECW which was the darkest of times
