WrestleRamble Extra - June Vote! (Patreon)
Content
We hope that you enjoyed our Judgment Day 2000 review! But we must now look ahead to the month of June! We've had some great suggestions from our $25+ backers, and now it's up to you to cast your vote and let us know what you'd like us to review.
We decided to try and avoid Attitude Era WWF for a change.
WCW Great American Bash 1995 (suggested by Phil Stopford)
It's the last Great American Bash before the Nitro-era of WCW! We've got Sing vs. Meng and Ric Flair taking on Randy Savage in the main event! Plus, an arm wrestling challenge between Dave Sullivan and DDP!
TNA 19/6/2002 (suggested by Rob Pontin)
Now here's an interesting one. Prior to them getting a weekly TV show, TNA used to be a weekly PPV - and this was the first one! The main event is a gauntlet for the gold as stars such as Ken Shamrock, Brian Christopher, Jeff Jarrett, Konnan, Scott Hall, Rick Steiner, Buff Bagwell and more compete for the NWA World's Championship. Really if you take out Shamrock and Christopher it sounds like any WCW PPV from 2000.
ECW One Night Stand 2005 (suggested by Chris Merryman)
ECW! ECW! The phoenix rose from the ashes as Rob Van Dam convinced Vince McMahon to hold an Extreme Championship Wrestling reunion show in 2005! But, you know, without any of the lads who were blacklisted by the company. They went and did the other ECW reunion show.
WWE Extreme Rules 2009 (suggested by Lendell Brenson)
From one extreme to the other, Extreme Rules 2009 features Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship in a ladder match, Batista vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship in a cage match, and Santina vs. Chavo and Vickie Guerrero in a Hog Pen Match. And don't forget, CM Punk is lurking around with that Money in the Bank briefcase...
WWE Capitol Punishment 2011 (suggested by DAAAAAAN!)
But never mind that s**t, here comes Capitol Punishment 2011! John Cena defends the WWE Championship against R-Truth, Randy Orton takes on Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship and Alex Riley faces The Miz in a grudge match! It's the final WWE PPV in a pre-Pipebomb world...
