This was such a heartfelt Ep. just Zishu going in depth of his history, how he lost his master and all his clan members because he trusted Prince Jin only to become an assassin and now accepting Chengling to be the next generation of his clan. and then we see Wen Kexing who although is evil, definitely has a soft spot for Zishu and Chengling and didn't hesitate to save him amidst his own plans and their small reunion. they are definitely soulmates. I think why Zishu drinks a lot is to numb his body due to the pain of those seven nails in his body and also in the previous EP he said he's losing his senses, so the alcohol is like to remind him what little there is left.
