This page was delayed several hours by a discussion about cooking methods in microgravity. Boiling water is dangerous in space, because instead of steaming, it just swells up with bubbles until it "boils over." Microgravity makes a lot of things inconvenient in unexpected ways. The microgravity cooking equipment tends to spin or press things or put them in bags.

I'm gonna avoid going into too much detail in this comic in the interest of completing it... today, but it's definitely something I'd like to talk about more in book 2.

Seeing how much smaller the grater is in Talita’s hands really drives home the size difference in a way just seeing her next to the other characters doesn’t, for some reason. Also love seeing all the little ways the space accommodates the challenges of microgravity while still feeling “homey”.

Never thought about how boiling water in microgravity would be dangerous, that would definably make cooking interesting give how so much earth cooking is boiling water really

The little "low grav" adaptive designs here are wonderful, the strap to keep the grater from floating away, the rails along the floor in the kitchen to anchor yourself with, I love all that so much!
