I still don't know how tf to do digital paintings but it has yet to stop me. Gonna keep tweaking this because the skin isn't quite where I want it to be. Blue-tone black in bright lighting is tricky.

The textures in this painting makes it much clearer how avians' beaks are actually tusks. (Are they a fixed size, or do they grow indefinitely?)

Lovely! The textures on the beak especially are cool, they really do make it obvious how it's just two big teeth.

They grow indefinitely and have to be ground down through use or with a beak file!

I've found this cool little tool called Color Constructor that really helps figure out lighting on different colors. https://muzzface.gumroad.com/l/ColorConstructor (I think Sirawit looks very good, though!)
