Holiday Comics Hiatus (Patreon)

Hey folks! I need time to make presents and prepare for a flight to Canada, so comic pages are on hold until mid-January. I will keep posting sketches and development stuff here during that time, though.

I'm encountering an unexpected situation with Terranaut. I had estimated it at 50 pages when I started thumbnails, but it's become obvious that it's gonna be at least 100. Which is really cool! That's a whole graphic novel!  But the method I used for writing Airsled (flying by the seat of my pants and writing as I draw) isn't working for a story of this length and complexity. I need time to plan scene-by-scene and rest from drawing scuds in challenging poses. I'm going to try out a combination of a slower update schedule with more time to plot, and cooldowns where I work on rough pages for The Scientific Method instead.  

The Scientific Method is another before-RttS story, which focuses on humans. It's about GMH ethics, AI robotics, romance, and petty squabbling. It's a lot shorter than Terranaut and I already have a full plot outline.

Either way, lots of exciting stuff will be posted here in the future. I can't wait to share it with all of you!
