Yo so this is off-topic but I’m just wondering if it’s possible to switch out one of my two movie recommendations? The movies I requested were Amadeus and Manchester by the Sea but I would like to switch out Manchester for The Power of the Dog if that’s possible. Power of the Dog is directed by Jane Campion and is in conversation for Best Picture at next year’s Oscars.

Love this journey so much! I'm not sure you got that main police character (Lou Solverson) isthe father of main police officer "Molly Solverson" - she is the little girl with the mom with cancer, the bad as heck hero of the first run - from Fargo Season 1 - Molly. He is the retired cop in the Diner who protects the family and has the classic showdown with Malvo just like his younger self (younger self Lou in this season) does with Dodd earlier in season 2. I feel like that connection makes an already overflowingly rich show and Season even cooler and more connected - plot and word building elements I know you appreciate. Hope you read this so you get that extra level of revelatory joy! Every season has some tie loosely held by the time and story changes each season but it goes back to the movie even with the money out in the snow by the fence. The Cohens are executive producers of the TV show but have given over mostly full creative freedom to genus TV writer/director Noah Hawley. But the common threads are one of the many unique and - it makes you feel like you are part of a super lucky exclusive group who took the leap and time to watch this show and all its absolute glory - to me a contender for best TV how of the 2010s - probably the best - though many other contenders "True Detective Season 1 is so magnificent - hey always great to have a number of choices - and "Breaking Bad" and "The Americans" and "Game of Thrones" and "Atlanta"- there are several more but this one - has such qualities again you feel like part of a special club to be able to know you've witnessed and felt tit - you feel this show, more than just watching it - that is how well done it is. Thanks as always, can't wait for more!
