Vote on what I should watch and react to next! This Poll will end most likely Sunday and I'll choose the TOP 3 to react to next week on Monday and Wednesday & Thursday!

No worries, I plan on actually prolonging these recommendations so don't trip if you don't see your selection on here first! :)

Watching Scary movie before Scream wouldnt be a good idea btw. Awesome choices here though

Jansson

Have a great week everyone!

Am I the only one who loved Doctor Sleep?

Anonymous

Glad to see The Blair Witch Project on here! Hope it wins.

I would recommend the original the ring (ringu) as well along with the ‘02 version, and the Werner Herzog remake of Nosferatu (Nosferatu the Vampyre).

AliaAtreides84

I don't know who suggested Nosferatu but I'm voting for it, even though it has no chance of winning haha

Anyone here seen Cure (1997) by Kiyoshi Kurosawa? One of the best horror thrillers oat imo. Would die to see it on a poll

Rickard Blixt

Cure is great! Pulse/Kairo would also be interesting to see a reaction of. Not Halloween season-related, but another good Kiyoshi Kurosawa pick would be Bright Future.

Taner Archibald

I’ll never say no to somebody watching alien

Rickard Blixt

The soundtrack to Herzogs 'Nosferatu' by Popol Vuh is also amazing! Also agree on Ringu.

Cifer

It may not be the "best" movie, but Rocky Horror Picture Show would certainly be the most unique lol.

Dustin Bruce

Scary Movie before Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer would ruin a lot of the surprises in latter for you, many scenes are done like a shot-for-shot, line-for-line copy of the material they're basing it on.

M Potter

Rocky Horror is not horror, and scary movie is a parody. Every other movie on the list is worth watching but I am disappointed that apparently nobody gives two shits about Hellraiser. FWIW The Ring and the Others are both fantastic. Scream is good but its not the greatest horror movie in the world, it's more of a tribute.

Rewatched scream the other day, it doesn't hold up well. Hang up the dam phone!

Sonia Deepak

There is some serious competition on this polll, but I’m really hoping that even if The Others doesn’t win James will still watches it at some point, because it really is quite good. Maybe next Halloween

Brett Coster

Nosferatu!!! Yes, yes, yes. I know that it won't win but it is definitely worth a watch. Otheerwise my 3 votes are: 1. Nosferatu 2. The Others 3. An American Werewolf in London But this is such a good list to choose from, Psycho, Alien, Rocky Horror, Suspiria - you can't go wrong. But pleeeease, Nosferatu.

Cody Price

I hope get more votes for Doctor Sleep this week. Great film. :)

Real question is Theatrical or Director's Cut? I personally prefer the Theatrical, but I've seen that version the most. Great film, has my vote!

Anonymous

Rocky Horror would be such a wild reaction please 😭

Desperate for American werewolf

Marvelous Dolcy

Wow what a great set of films. And I believe my suggestion is going to win. Not sure if you've seen Scream yet but you should watch if you haven't before watching Scary Movie. Which is a great choice

The Strangers

Bert Taverner

Went for Psycho and An American Werewolf in London. Used to love Scream as a kid, but now I think its too stuck in the '90s (really didn't like the '90s as a kid and I like it way less now). You already saw Alien, so scratch that even tho its my fav of these choices. So please y'all, let American Werewolf beat out Nightmare on Elm Street. No shade on Elm Street, but I like werewolf better.

Bert Taverner

I agree. Wes Craven's idea of making a teen slasher flick with Tarantino-esque dialogue didn't age well. Its stuck in the '90s and IMO the '90s kinda sucked

Baffles me how scream has more votes than American Werewolf in London

Yours truly, Johnny Dollar

With classic horror movies doing so well, maybe it is time to give Rosemary's Baby another shot?

Cody Price

Just thought about it. Another great film to watch for Halloween that you would love is The Invisible Man starring Elizabeth Moss and Aldis Hodge. It’s a mix of horror, sci-fi, action, triller, film noir all in one.

Doctor sleep is a great sequel to the shining you NEED to do it even if u return at a later date. It’s much truer to Stephen kings vision

Anonymous

It Follows is one of my favorite horror movies; you likely won’t get to it this year, but I’m gonna recommend it for next Halloween season!
