I know I'm in the minority, but 'The Shining' is the most overrated horror film of all time for me. No need to come at me. I'm a huge Kubrick fan but the casting and the script just didn't cut it for me, but that's also colored by the book being my favorite horror novel. Amazing Steadicam work, some great scenes and moments, but the ending just made it all fall apart for me. This list does, however, remind me that I'm way behind on watching 'Let the Right One In', so need to do that before I can watch James' reaction.

The Silence of the Lambs is one of the most thoroughly unsettling films I've ever watched (and the performances in it are legendary). Jonathan Demme really knew how to set up a scene. Can't wait for your reaction!

So excited you went with the original Swedish adaptation. Tremendous line up!

I am so fucking exited!!! Are we not supposed to cuss in here? My apologies. But I'M SOOOO FUCKING EXITED! I hope we get all of the Hannibal movies. Maybe the TV show too later down the line.

I’m so surprised and happy Let the Right One In is on deck.

Three solid picks. I think The Shining is overrated like all Kubrik films except A Clockwork Orange, but it's worth seeing.

Great trilogy of films watching. I'm glad the underdog film was given a chance for Thursday. Just as good as TS and SOTL.

Just finished Silence of the Lambs. Do you realize you give perfect reactions? Even on your first watch you always manage to point out things I've never noticed in movies I've seen 10 times. I hope you do Hannibal and Red Dragon months from now when your schedule allows it. You can't imagine how great the story progresses. It's some of the most beautiful horror out there. Thanks so much for being such entertaining therapy.
