In the Temple of Doom film, look out for the short Dan Ackroyd cameo, and the club in the opening scene has a Star Wars reference. The name of the club is Club Obi Wan. Also, the lead actress in this Indiana Jones film, Kate Kapshaw, ended up marrying Spielberg 7 years later after Temple of Doom.

Chan-wook Park is a master director. One of the best directors in the past 30 years. The Lady Vengence trilogy are audacious films that most American filmmakers wouldn’t have the guts to make, in my humble opinion.

Just watched your Spotlight reaction, so glad you enjoyed it. Such great story telling. I agree that the editing was the star but everything was to notch. I think a classic along the same line that you would enjoy is All the President's Men. Another great film that is also a history lesson.
