Vote on what I should watch and react to next! This Poll will end most likely THURSDAY and I'll choose the TOP 2 to react to next week on Monday and Wednesday!

No worries, I plan on actually prolonging these recommendations so don't trip if you don't see your selection on here first! :)

RAN is so good, and I thinks James would enjoy it very much

Road to Perdition is one of Sam Mendes’ best. Hanks, Newman, and Daniel Craig were amazing in it.

Jansson

I say it every week but let’s get Kurosawa to the top! RAN is just one of his masterpieces and I would love to hear James’s thoughts on it.

I bumped up half that list ... RAN is a Kurosawa retelling of the Shakespeare play King Lear Spotlight is a true story and the last bit just before the credits will absolutely shock you Primal Fear was Edward Norton's first film and he made a believer out of Richard Gere on the first take Equalizer was a good remake with Denzel Washington instead of British actor Edward Woodward who did the TV show source material in the 1980s on CBS. It had really distinctive music and helped start the careers of people like Vincent D'Onofrio Road to Perdition is one of the great graphic novel adaptations that people do not realize is an adaptation. Look for a relatively unknown Daniel Craig. Temple of Doom is a good sequel. The best part to me is the Shanghai stuff.

I just watched Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress last night and could definitely see what inspiration George Lucas pulled from it for Star Wars

Edward Norton is GREAT! in Primal Fear

Yessica C

Does anyone know which version of Mother is on the list?

Chelsea

Wait...Korean film Mother? Yes please!

Christian Rennie

Ooh, Primal Fear. Yes. I forgot about that one!

C'mon people, let's make Ran happen! We need to get James on the Kurosawa fan boat ;-)

Anonymous

First Man please!!!! :P

Matt

First Man and Ran pretty please!

Brittyn Lindsey

Spotlight, Adaptation, REC, Primal Fear, Mother! 🙏

This main needs to see Adaptation

Brett Coster

I can only choose 2 films from this list: 1. Ran (again, Kurosawa is needed) 2. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I have seen First Man but wasn't really impressed with it; it's OK but other space/lunar landing films, I think are better.

Marvelous Dolcy

Wow Ran third place so far. There is hope. (voted Ran and Adaption)

Voting on Ran and First Man. The auditory work on First Man is unrivaled and may be the best depiction of how terrifying and lowtech those moon landings really were. Also its heartbreaking.

Bd Blake

RAN! RAN! RAN!

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World is leaving Amazon soon. It's criminally underrated.

Spotlight!

kimsmk

Really hope RAN gets seen!!

Is this Mother the Korean one or is it “Mother!”?

Anonymous

Please watch KIDS. It’s a masterpiece.

Maybe you could only leave the movies in for the next poll that ranked 3rd -6th in the current one so we get a bit more circulation and new movies in. Im sure you have more than enough choices for which movies to put on. Just my opinion perhaps others agree ?

Randall Keizer

‘Adaptation’ is a revelation

Randall Keizer

You would really like ‘Rushmore’
