At least in the votes on in mood for love and The king of comedy is more closer now. Stalker is also a good one. Those films should not compete against the blockbusters though. Who Framed Roger is still a fun watch

Oof, nice to see Delicatessen make it on the list. Unfortunately it seems to be just as unknown as The Handmaiden. It would be such a nice 'double bill' for our weekly reaction videos.

Burning wasn't my favorite from Lee Chang-dong. I preferred Secret Sunshine and Oasis from him...Oasis is in my top 4 of all time.

I'm voting for Stalker and In The Mood For Love. and Along Came Polly. I will be happy to watch his Roger Rabbit video though if that wins which I think it will. I think James should check out Along Came Polly since it has Ben Stiller who he really likes. I'm quite interested in how he would respond to a romcom (never saw it though).

I swear to all of your gods, if along came Polly gets chosen before the handmaiden, I will force quit!! Park Chan wook is a mother flippin genius and that movie is also sexy as hell!

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my all time favorite films. Unfortunately, not many people I follow react to it. I’ve been trying to change that. And seems to be working, you would be the second to watch this, if it wins that is. The film is a technical achievement, especially considering all the hoops it had to jump through.

Another great pole with lots of fantastic choices! I know Stalker has a low chance of winning but just seeing it being considered, warms my heart. Anyone of these choices would be brilliant and I’m looking forward to the discussions! I think it’s okay to be disappointed in the moment that a film loses a pole but we all have to remember that at the end of the day a movie losing a pole isn’t that big of a deal. I’m just glad that James is looking these movies up and is interested in them! I truly believe that the magic of film is that there is just so much to choose from and any choice is a good one. Sorry for the rant I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Delicatessen, The Handmaiden and Stalker will always get my votes but probably never win

Stalker, Death of Stalin, Delicatessan are all great movies but not nearly as popular as The Last Samurai and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (also a very great film, the other has Tom Cruise). Perhaps separate them in the polling to say one or two polls per month for the consistent also rans?
